Chapter Nineteen

*Natsu's Point of View*

"No...it can't be."

I didn't know how to react, what to say. It couldn't be her. Not her of all people. The devil himself would be more merciful. Anyone but her. Usually I'd be ready to take on any enemy. Now all of a sudden just the mention of her name strikes fear into my heart.

"Sh-she's been dead for ages. It can't be true Gramps. TELL ME IT'S NOT TRUE!" I've never spoken to the Master like that before. Ever.

"I am sorry to say It my boy, but it is true. Thana the Dragon Slayer, will come to kill us all."

I fell to my knees. The fear, anger, worry, horror filling my mind. Fairy Tail has defeated a lot, we've been through hell and back, but nothing like this, nothing like her. 

*(Y/N)'s Point of View*

I walked up the stairs to Masters office and knocked on the door. No response. I open the door to see Makarov standing above Natsu as he sits against his knees on the floor of his office.

"Natsu.." I say softly turning his head toward me.

I step into the office and sit down next to him hugging him comfortably as I ask the Master what has been said.

"Thana...she's coming for us (Y/N)."  I could feel it. The fear in him. He's....scared. 

"Who is Thana, and what does she want with Natsu and I?" I ask the Master while comforting my mate.

"She is a millennials old Dragon Slayer, the first one to be precise. She is the wizard who created the magic specifically for defeating dragons. She was thought to be dead for centuries only for the magic council to find out that her body had been preserved by the lord Zeref, why is something we do not know. Very few people know of her still being alive, that is the magic council and the Ten Wizard Saints themselves. We were sworn into secrecy but the problem has become urgent now that you have joined the guild. I unfortunately did not know however that you and Natsu's reconnection would wake Thana from her preserved state."

"Wait what do you mean reconnection?" I ask Makarov with a puzzled look. Natsu lifts his head from it's previous state only to ask the same question.

"(Y/N), please tell me, how long have you had that necklace?" He points to the wave sitting on my chest. Before I get a chance to answer the office door swings open and in fly's Happy.

"Um, you guy's might want to see this." He say's with a shaken voice. I grab Natsu who is still in a state of shock and walk him down the stairs of the guild and led by happy outside only to be met with a black sky. No, not the type of black when it is night but the Jet black you see on a Ravens wings, not to mention it was only noon. The wind raced across Magnolia as puffy red storm clouds began to form in the sky.

"What the hell?" Natsu and I say in unison. 

"I've seen many storms in my day, but nothing like this." Master came to the edge of the guild hall door only to stare and the sky and spin back around in a hurry. In curiosity we all but Natsu followed him back inside.

"Change of plans." He exclaimed walking up to the top floor of the guild staring at us from below. "We leave as soon as possible, everyone return to your homes, dorms and such and pack only what you can carry on foot. I don't know how long we will be gone but we will need every single available member." Master was most serious saying this.

The entire guild whispered in low tones and finally all dispersed into the black sky, back to their homes to do as master ordered.

"Natsu?" I had walked back outside to find him still staring at the sky.
