Chapter Three

"Well here it is." Lucy says finally stopping in front of a big beautiful light red house.

"How...are you not...out of...breath." I say between pants and heaves."Oh, I run for my life all the time so I'm used to it. You on the other hand look like your about to die, sorry."

"Oh it's ok, I didn't mind just a little out of shape."

"Good. So what do you think." She says gesturing to the house in front of us. (Did she just say that's it's good that I'm out of shape.)

"Wow." I exclaim viewing the place that might soon be my home. "Do you like it." Lucy asks waiting for my reaction. "Like it, I love it but..." I reply still unsure if this is the right choice.

"But what." She replies her face falling.

"But.. I still don't think I should be living so close to town." I say becoming more upset. "Oh well.. at least see the inside first before you make your final decision." She says hope back in her eyes and persuasion
In her voice. Damn why did she have to be so persuasive.

"Ugh fine I'll take a look." I say once again giving in.

Once we were inside I couldn't help but stand there in awe. The house was already furnished and had a huge living room and kitchen that connected to the dining room in the middle. There is a huge window near a large couch and a long wide hallway decorated with bright paintings leading to the master bedroom. When I walked in I almost cried. There wasn't a bed but there was a wide window on the largest wall and a walk in closet, with a gorgeous tiled bathroom. I had never had a real house before so just looking at it put a smile on my face.

"So what do you think... umm (YN)... are you okay." Lucy asks aware of my facial expression.

I was crying, hard, yet there was a smile on my face. Whether they were tears of joy, shock, or sadness, they were real.

"Are you ok." Lucy asks rubbing gentle circles along my back. "Yea, I-I'm fine. I've just never had a real house or a real friend before and I'm just a little overwhelmed." I say turning to Lucy and wiping the tears from my eyes. Seeing my reaction she embraced me in a warm loving hug. I started to cry all over again.

"Im sorry I'm usually not this emotional." I say pulling away and wiping my face with the back of my sleeve. "It's okay. Soo... what about the place." Lucy says now back to trying to persuade me into buying it (this girl is never gonna give up is she?

"Umm....okay. I'll take it." I say finally willing to take a chance and live in Magnolia. "YES! Okay lets go talk to the land lady." She beams turning around to exit the bedroom.

We made our way downstairs to the land lady's office and work out the details of my living arrangements.(Turns out the rent wasn't 45,000 jewel it's was 55,000. Lucy changed it to make me want to buy it. That little liar.)

Then when we were done I made my way upstairs. I let out a distressed sigh a looked around. "What's wrong." Says Lucy as she walks in scaring the shit out of me.

"JESUS! Lucy did you have to sneak up on me like that, you almost gave me a heart attack." I say with my hand to my chest trying to catch my breath.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to, I just asked what's wrong." She says surprised by my reaction. "Sorry Lucy I just..I don't have anything."

"What do you mean." She asks confused.

"I mean I don't have anything." I say this time showing her my empty hands.

I had not brought any luggage or clothing I had nothing but a bag with some personal belongs and a necklace Aqua gave me of an ocean wave in a flame of fire around my neck. Aqua gave it to me so that when I met HIM I would know.

"You don't have any clothes do you." Lucy says feeling bad. Suddenly that twinkle in her eyes is back and she is smiling like an idiot.

"What?" I ask now kind of creeped out by Lucy's splitting grin.

"You know what this means...we're gonna go....SHOPPING!" She giggles squealing in excitement.

"Sounds good to me."

I liked Lucy, she was sweet and generous. She's the first person I've met in Magnolia so far and has been so kind to me. She even helped me find a new home.

(AN) Does anyone get my shopping reference. Lol its from White Chicks if you didn't know.

I will be updating soon but school has got me super busy. Though hope you like the story so far and a lot more will be happening later in the story and surprises are soon to come. Leave comments so I can know what you think.
