The New Member of the Guild

Chapter Six

The next morning I woke up to the morning light shining through my window. Sadly since the house did not come with a bed,'which I thought was stupid considering the rest of the house was furnished.' I had to sleep on the couch. It wasn't bad just not how I imagined spending the first night in my new home would be like.

I get up brush my teeth, take a shower and get freshened up. Since I was joining the guild today I wanted to look nice and make a good first impression.

I put on a light blue tank top with dark blue jeans and a pair of black combat boats with blue streaks on the sides. I through on a black jeans jacket and a left my long (H/C) hair out so it was sprawled over my shoulders down to my waist. I put in a blue hair clip to keep some out my face and a pair of blue studded earrings. 'I look good.' I think to myself as I took one last look in the mirror before making my way down the hall to the kitchen. As I reach for the refridgerator my phone rings and its Lucy.

LUCY: Hey. Goodmorning. Don't eat anything I'm coming over and we're gonna go out to breakfast before heading to the guild.

'It's funny how she calls me and says that the minute I'm about to open the refridgerator.'

ME: Okay, when will you get here.

LUCY: I'm on my way now I should be there in three minutes.

ME: Okay see you soon.

LUCY: Okay Bye.

Before I could say another word she hangs up. I sit on the couch waiting for Lucy as my mind begins to wonder. 'What if the guild isn't what I hoped it would be? What if they don't like me? What if they don't let me become a member?' Were the only thoughts racing through my head as all I can think about is the guild.

I'm soon brought out of my thoughts by a knock on the door. I open the door to see Lucy standing in front of me with a smile that lights up the room. "Hey you ready. "She says anxious to get going. Seeing her takes away all of my worries. 'How could a person this nice possibly be part of a bad guild. Ill be fine.'

We go to this cool bar place that serves breakfast and it's delicious. I have pancakes, bacon, hash browns and sausage. Lucy has eggs, toast and some bacon. 'No wonder she's so skinny.' I wonder as she doesn't even finished the little food she has on her plate.

When we're done Lucy wants to pay for the food but I tell her no and that she's done enough. We end up getting into a five minute argument over who should pay for the food and the waitress gets tired and finally said that our meal is free just so we could leave.

"Wow we should fight over the bill more often." Lucy says as we leave the bar making our way to the guild. "No kidding." I say as we both bust out in laughter.

When we make it to the guild were both in knots as Lucy finishes one of her many stories about this guy named Gray and his stripping habbit. "Oh my God! In the guild hall!" I say in between chuckles and snorts. "YASSSS! In front of the master and everything." I'm Laughing so hard, I can't wait to meet this guy.

Once I catch my breath I realise that we are in front of the guild hall and my stomach goes in knots all over again, but not in a good way. Lucy notices the expression on my face. "Hey (YN) you don't have to worry. Everything will be fine." She says trying to sooth me. "Can you go in first I think I need a minute." I say trying to calm down. "Sure just come in when your ready." She says opening the door to the guild. I finally work up the courage to go in and am surprised at what I see.

Everyone is fighting.

People are throwing punches and kicking. Some people are using thier magic and others are just yelling at each other. I'm so surprised I don't know what to do so I just stand there.

Soon the fight dies down and everyone is catching their breaths. After that I stand up (from the seat I was sitting in waiting for these dummies to stop brawling) and make my way to the front counter where a beutiful women with white hair and purple eyes is standing working the bar.

"Hello what can I- Oh are you looking for someone." She says smiling. She seems so nice and very pretty. "Ummm yes I'm looking for the guild master." I say respond. "Oh okay, do you need to speak to him." She asks. "Yes I'm hoping to become a member of the guild." I say unaware that the room is now completely guiet because of my words.

"Really you want to become a member, that's amazing." She says in excitement. By this piont the whole guild Is staring at me. "What do I hear of a new member." Says a strong and low vioce.

"This young lady wants to join the guild, master." The woman said. Down a flight of stairs came a short older man. 'That must be the master.' I think to myself as the man came up to me and offered his hand.

"My name is Mokorav, but if you are to join this guild you are to call me Master Mokorav." He said shaking my hand with a firm grip for an old man. At this piont I'm beyond nervous. "What is your name young lady." The master asks looking me up and down with a perverted look. 'Is this dude checking me out." I think to myself as I respond. "(YN)." I respond "So you would like to join the guild." He asks me sitting on top of the counter. "Yes sir I have come a long way and have heard many amazing tales of your guild. I would love nothing more than to become a member." I say trying not to sound desperate (to late).

"Hi master I see you've met (YN)." Says Lucy as she strolls over. Turns out Lucy's persuasive maters don't just work on me. Her and the master talked for a little while and lucy tried to soften him up so that he would let me join.

"Lucy you don't have to try and persuade me. I was going to let (YN) join anyway." Master said trying his hardest to make Lucy stop talking. "Wait really!" I ask extremely excited. "Yes, I see great potential in you child and it would be an honor to have another dragon slayer in the guild."

Damn.

"Wait your a dragon slayer!" Lucy exclaims louder than I expected. "Yes, I wanted to wait until I was in the guild before telling you." I say face planting from the masters revelation.

After about half an hour of questions from the master I finally got my emblem. I got it in bright blue on my chest over my heart. It was the most exciting moment of my life. I was finally joining a guild.

"So (YN) how do you feel." Lucy asks happy for me. "Honestly, I'm beyond happy." I reply. "Good." She says grabbing my wrist and dragging me to the center of the guild. "Umm what are we doing." I ask confused on why she dragged me to the center of attention. "You'll see." Oh no, I've heard that before.

"HEY EVERYONE, WHO WANTS TO MEET THE NEW GUILD MEMBER!"

Lucy yells getting the whole guilds attention. 'Man I hate her.'
