Chapter Two

WOW!" I exclaim savoring the view of the most beautiful town I had ever laid eyes upon.

'So this is Magnolia.' I think to myself before stepping into the lovely towns barriers.

The first thing I had to do was find a place to stay; luckily Aquamarine had been keeping savings for me for the day that I would leave. (How a dragon saves money I have no Idea, I tend to not ask questions I don't want to know the answers to.) Anyway looking for a house or even an apartment was a bit harder then I hoped it would be.

"Ugh, why is it so hard to find a one bedroom house in a town this damn huge!" I yelled out loud in anger not aware of anyone else being around.

"You having some house hunting trouble I remember how that felt."

A young girl with shoulder length blonde hair, came walking up to me.

She looked about 17 years old and had a curvaceous body with large breasts (Not that I was looking).

"Hi I'm Lucy, I'm guessing your new here considering you don't have a place to stay." She said making her way over to me. As she got closer I could see her face more clearly and saw that she was very pretty, but the fact that she looked so familiar kept crossing my mind.

"Hi, I'm (YN), and yea. I just moved here and have no idea where to find a good place." I say taking a few steps closer to her. Now we are face to face and I can't help but notice the belt on her waist with a pocket of keys on the side. They looked like Celestial spirit keys.

"Oh my gosh, your a Celestial spirit mage." I say trying not to sound impressed or shocked to have met a wizard having only been in town for less than a day.

"Why yes I am. I belong to the guild Fairy Tail." She replies smiling and holding up her right hand revealing the pink emblem on the back of it.

To say that my jaw dropped was an understatement. I was so happy to have met a Fairy Tail wizard that I actually hugged the stranger in front of me. After a few seconds of awkwardness and realizing what I am doing I released her from my grip and took a few steps back.

"Umm....sorry. I've just been hoping to find someone from your guild for a while." I say to her hoping that I didn't freak her out.

"Oh it's ok, I mean the hug was kind of sudden but I didn't mind. Though why are you so exited to have met a member of Fairy Tail anyway."She says with a soft feminine voice.

"Im actually not just here to find a place, I'm here to join the guild. I'm here to join Fairy Tail.

"THAT'S GREAT!" She squeals in excitement this time hugging me.

"Come on." She says releasing me and grabbing my wrist, dragging me down the street. "Where are we going?" I ask confused.

"You said you needed a place right." She says stopping and turning around to face me. "Yes I did, why do you have any ideas." I ask unaware of what is to come. "Actually..." she says pausing. The twinkle in her eyes tells me she has an idea I might not like. "I live a few blocks away, and a newly wed couple just moved out a few houses down from mine."

"And that has everything to do with me because.." I reply trying to pretend that I don't know what she's talking about. "Well... the rent is only 45,000 jewel a month and it's only 2 blocks walk from the guild sooo.."

"Again what does that have to do with me." I reply again not admitting that I know what she is talking about. "You could just live there." That's what I was afraid she would say.

"Uh I don't think that I would feel comfortable living so close to you or the guild. I was actually planning on getting a house outside of town so that I only have to come here for missions at the guild." I say trying not to hurt her feelings.

"What, why what's wrong?" Lucy said beginning to feel sad that I didn't like her idea. "I-I just don't feel that comfortable being around people."

It wasn't a complete lie. I just don't exactly feel comfortable around people, expecially wizards. "Why not, I know we just met but whatever it is I'm sure I can help you with it." She was so nice, so genuine and caring.

How could I say no.

"It's not exactly something I like to talk about." I reply trying to stay calm.

"Oh' okay. Well I won't pry, but I still think you should take the place." She says trying to be persuasive. It was working. 45,000 is within my budget.

"Ugh fine I will take a look at it but that doesn't guarantee anything." I finally give in and Lucy loses it.

"YEAH! I knew you'd say yes." She squeals grabbing my wrist and dragging me again. "I said I would take a look that doesn't me-..." I was cut off by Lucy now practically flying across the streets pulling me from behind.

"Oh I almost forgot." She says stopping and turning around once again.

"Welcome to Magnolia (YN)."
