Chapter Twelve

I was at the guild the whole day yesterday and came home to an empty house. 'Where is Marie' I think to myself as I search the place for my exceed. I end up just giving up after looking for ten minutes and flop down on the bed from my long day.

*"(YN) you are not safe. You must take him and leave now." Said the same female voice that entered my dreamed before. I look around but am surrounded by darkness. I look down out of paranoia to check if my feet where still in tact and see that I am practically standing in thin air. I start to freak out. "What is this, where am I?" I yell in fear. "I promise child that he will keep you safe but you cannot trust her, she is not who she claims to be." The voice says in an almost worried tone. I look around to see if I can find a way out but there is only an everlasting obiss of darkness. "Why am I here, why don't you just leave me alone?" I ignore the voices advice out of fear. I am usually very brave and confident, buy this was pushing my limits. "Please my little droplet, you must trust me and yourself or you will never survive this." At that moment I knew, only one person has ever called me droplet before. "Aqua?" I say tears starting to well up in my eyes. I am met with weary silence and left alone in the darkness. The next thing I know my eyes are met with a bright light and I swear I've died until...*

"(YN), (YN) wake up." I am met with Lucy shaking me senseless. The look of pure fear and concern in her eyes makes me want to cry knowing that someone I just met cares for me so much. "(YN), you were screaming. I came in with the spare key to get you but all I heard was screaming and yelling. I thought you were being murdered and came in here but it was only you. What is the matter?" Lucy states extremely terrified of the state she found me in. "I-I Im sorry, it was just a bad dream, it wont happen again." I say trying to put together the pieces of what I had just saw in my dreams.

Was that really Aqua in my dream? It must have been, no one else in my life has ever called me droplet besides her. "I don't care about that, you don't need to apologize. I just need to know what caused you to freak out like that." She said still grasping my shoulders, concern in her eyes. "Lucy Im fine, okay." "No, not okay. I'm taking you to the guild and we're gonna talk to the master about this." Lucy states as she begins to drag me out of bed.

Because of Lucy I had to hastily throw on some clothes, and head out the door. She dragged me all the way to the guild and up the stairs to Mokarov's office without as much as taking a second glance at anyone.

"Master, I need a diagnosis." She said as she burst into Master's office without even knocking. "Is there a problem Lucy?" Master asks clearly annoyed. "Yes, there is, (YN) here had a horrible dream last night. So Bad that I heard her screaming." She said obviously concerned for me. "I figured that if there is something seriously wrong than you'll know what it is." She continues gripping my hand and pleading with master with her big brown eyes.

"Come here child." Master says gesturing for me to sit on the chair near his desk. "What was your nightmare about." He asks quite calmly. "That's the thing master, I don't really know. It was mostly a blurr. All there was was darkness and a voice calling out to me warning me." I state worry in my voice. "I had had a nightmare similar to this when I first got here, but I didn't know who the voice was then, but I think I know now." I say almost scared of the truth. "Who is it child?" Master asks me.

"My dragon, Aquamarine."

Master's eyes widened in shock at the mention of her name as if he knew what was happening. "Are you positive, you must be positive you heard the water dragon?" He asks me fear and worry in his eyes. "Yes, in the dream she called me her little droplet. That was the nickname Aqua had for me. Her and only her have ever called me that." I became concerned.
