Today is the day I've been dreading for, the first day of school.Thankfully WestMont High is only ten minutes away.
I must say being the legal guardian of my sisters,isn't easy. Avery and Skylan are twins and there 7. Even though there twins there polar opposites,Avery is mellow and quiet and Skylan is a ball full of energy. There not identical twins, Avery has light brown hair and green eyes and Skylan has blonde hair blues eyes. Then there's Tess whose 15, she has blonde hair and is fairly short, 5'5. She doesn't go to WestMont like I do she's goes to LakeCrest High,which is a couple blocks away from my school. She use to me bubbly and always talkative but ever since it happened she's moody and sarcastic. She's use to be depressed but she's not anymore.
It's hard having to get them all to school in the morning and to be able to pay the bills and for food but I make it work. I have 3 jobs and I try to work the most I possibly can. Sometimes the kids miss me but deep down inside they understand. Tess watches the twins whenever she doesn't have dance.
Our morning presumes the same schedule I wake up at 5:30 to get ready for high school. I pick out my outfit, take a shower, put a minimal amount of makeup on until I hear the timer go off on my phone too wake up the twins.
People always tell me why do you wake up at 5:30 if you don't have to be at school till 8:20 well my answers is because I'm basically in charge of my sisters and it doesn't help that Avery and Sklyan take forever to wake up.
Once they were both finally awake and dressed I made them both breakfast. As they were munching on there cereal and talking about how Skylan has a new "boyfriend" named Josh I realized that Lia's not awake yet. Its kind of sad my younger sister has had more "boyfriends" than I've ever had.
I walk down the hall way and entered her room. Now I get that she is old enough to wake herself up but she always sleeps in so me waking her up is the only way she will."Lia get up get up you overslept,". And do you want to know what I get in return. "Go away ugh it's too early and get the hell out of my room!". Wow isn't she just an early bird.
