Chresanto's POV: I was having hella trouble getting to sleep I kept tossing and turning flipping my pillow over nothing was working! then all of sudden I was sitting on the park bench where jake always went whenever he wanted to be alone I heard a familiar song playing in the far distance I started to walk until the noise became clearer it was More Than Yesterday by Dead By April jake's favorite rock band I looked around until something finally caught my attention It was a kid with a green and white baseball tee with what looked like a peace sign on the front green jean shorts with a chain hanging down and green Jordan's at first I thought there was no way it could be jake then I saw that the kid also had a large curly fro I ran over to him picked him up and gave him the biggest bear hug ever he hugged back and laughed "put me down fool!" he said "I missed you dude" I said "missed me? why? I didn't go anywhere" he said "what are you talking about? you died dumbass" I said "oh that hmm I guess Melanie kept her promise" jake said "what Promise?" I asked "ooh nothing nothing" he said laughing "this isn't funny jake Rebecca's still out there somewhere dude" I said "I know don't worry man we'll stop her the 3 of us together" he said "what do you mean 3? did you forget that your ass is dead" I said again "oooooh my god here we go again with the d word look dude if you really believed that I wouldn't be here right now" he said "so you're saying your still alive?" I asked "let's just say i'm spiritually incognito" he said I shook my head "so you finally told Melanie about your powers and that you're her brother" he said "yea" I said "bout got damn time you know how heard keepin shit like that was from my bestfriend you asshole" he said "hey watch it I have powers now I can crush your skull without even breaking a sweat" I threatened "do it then" he said pulling me closer to him gently crashing his lips into mine "I miss you jake" I said letting a tear fall from my eye "I know man i'll be back I promise" he said wiping away the tear "how? even a demon can't survive an explosion you told me that your self" I said he buried my head in his chest roaming his hand through my curls "get some sleep I"ll See You Soon Chresanto" he said smiling and disappearing from my vision
