"Mmm." Jessica purses her lips at me. "Well it was nice meeting you! I'll have to be going. My food will be here soon." She pulls out a pen and jots something down on a napkin before folding it and handing it to Dan. I narrow my eyes as she takes her seat at her table. Dan unfolds the napkin under the table. His eyes light up and he looks over to Jessica's table. She's purposefully avoiding his gaze but I can see her smiling to herself. One of the perks of being "the quiet one." You can figure people out faster then anyone else in the room.
She's gonna be back.
