I lay exhausted, the energy sucked right out of me! Nathan sat beside me, his skin was literally glowing as he held Kieren in his arms. Nathan looked up at me an unfamiliar sparkle shon in his eyes.
"Can I ask you a question?" He asked turning towards me slowly to not wake up Kieren.
"Sure!" I whispered.
"Well I was thinking. Would you marry me?" He looked down at Kieren shyly, a blush covering his cheeks. What? Did he just ask me to marry him? Holy mother of god!
"Y-yes!" I stuttered. My mouth speaking before my brain could catch up. Nathan looked back up in shock.
"Really? I mean I know we have only been going out for 5 months!" I chuckled loudly grinning from ear to ear.

"Nathan Beauchamp, I have spent my life loveless and alone! You have been the one thing that has made me feel happy and safe. I love you, completely and utterly am in love with you! I would be honored to be your wife!" I gushed, my heart was pounded painfully against my chest. The fire seemed to ignite in his eyes as he leant over pressing his sweet lips to mine in a burning kiss.

Nathan sat back letting out a huge breathe.
"What?" I questioned.
"I've been trying to find the right time to ask you to marry me. I was so scared in case you thought it was too soon. The minute I saw Kieren it was like everything made sense! God I can't wait to call you my wife!" He whispered  staring at me. We were interrupted by a nurse walking in with a clip board.
"So I have all the legal documents here, have you decided on a name for the little baby boy?" She asked casually clicking a pen as she waited.
"Kieren Keller Beauchamp." I spoke. Nathan looked at me rather shocked.
"Are you sure?" He asked searching my eyes.
"It feels right!" I whispered giving him a reassuring smile.
"Perfect! Birthday, 2nd of July 2016. Time of birth, 17:34 pm. Mother is Isabelle Aislynn Crane and Father is Nathan Kieren Beauchamp, correct?" The nurse asked.
"Yes, thanks!" Nathan once again looked startled.
"Just because you're not his biological father does not mean won't be his dad!" I reassured him. The nurse nodded before walking out of the room.

The next thing I knew the room was full of people. Nathan was standing letting all of the women swoon over the adorable baby as John put his full attention on me.
"The Isabelle Crane?" He chuckled loudly sitting down beside my bed. I was so tired!
"John Mcmillian!" I said back in the same amused tone.
"Well soon I will be calling you Isabelle Beauchamp! It has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?" He teased happily.
"So much has changed in the last 8 months! How has it been?" He questioned lightly. His casual clothing made him look very young, dark jeans and a light T shirt.
"It has been stressful but all together perfect. If it wasn't for you I would probably still be in America! Is there any news on Chris?" I whispered the last part knowing how Nathan would react. John scratched his neck slightly before taking my hand.
"We don't need to talk about that now, you need to relax and rest. Just keep in mind that he is locked up and that is that!" John reassured as he patted my hand.
"On a lighter note, I'm so proud of how far you have come." He gushed happily. I smiled looking over at Nathan who was acting as the proud dad. His father stood back slightly from the group but there was still a pleasant smile on his face as he watched his son.

"Who knew pregnancy would be so tiring!" I chuckled. John smirked knowingly.
"You should have seen Kate when she had Quinn! She nearly broke my hand." He let out a gravely laugh as Nathan moved back over to me. I had never seen him so happy. He always held a tough exterior especially with the mean car and tattoos, I'm guessing from his strict family but seeing him holding Kieren in his arms made him look vulnerable and sweet!

"I thought the mother should at least get a chance to hold her baby!" Nathan smiled handing Kieren over to me. The second Kieren lay in my arms a small sigh left his delicate plump lips. He was perfect!
"Okay everyone I think it's time we let mummy here have some rest!" John pipped up. Kate and her daughter let out exasperated groans as everyone was ushered out of the room.
"Could you put him in his bed. I'm so tired, I don't want to drop him!" I whispered my eyelids drooping slightly. Nathan picked him up and placed him softly in the special bed beside mine.

"You did amazing today!" Nathan said leaning on the bed.
"You weren't too shabby yourself!" I laughed intertwining my fingers with his.
"You should go home! Me and the baby will still be here tomorrow!" I said, Nathan frowned before shaking his head.
"Nope I'm not leaving my fiance and our baby boy here alone! I don't care if there is security cameras and what not. I'm the protector of the family so I will stay right where I am!" He grinned obviously proud of himself as he fell back into the chair that was beside my bed.
"My hero!" I chuckled rolling over and snuggling against his hand which held mine.
"Always!" His voice was dead serious as he pressed a kiss to my forehead.
"Goodnight!" He whispered.
"Night." I muffled out before closing my eyes.
