Chapter 8

"Hi! I'm Onion-san!" The yellow creature introduced itself.

"Oh no, not you." Sans muttered, grabbing your wrist and walking towards the end of the room.

"Why?" You asked, confused, looking back and forth from Sans to Onion-san.

"You know what it'll sa-" Sans got cut off by the yellow monster.

"Are you a couple?" Sans stopped in his tracks and glared at Onion-san. You frowned mentally since you wished Onion-san's words will come true, but you and the skeleton will only be friends as you predicted.

But you noticed, as Sans glared, he was blushing a dark blue. This made you confused.

"I think you are. But you are keeping it as a secret." Onion-san implied with a sly smile. "And Sans, you're blushing."

This made the skeleton blush even more as it shook his head for you not to see it. "N-No. J-Just shut up." Sans stammered then continued walking.

"WAIT!" Onion-san intruded. "Just put it like this." The creature's tentacles made Sans let go of your wrist but Onion-san insisted to make you and the skeleton's hand intertwine.

You and Sans blushed at the awkward situation. You don't know what to do or say, or whether you should unintertwine your hands or not. Sans put his free hand in his jacket's pocket and started walking towards the exit. But you swear you saw Sans wink at Onion-san.

"Bye, couple! BYYYYEEEE!" Onion-san went into the water.

"So weird." You crowed honestly, then looked down at Sans, who was still blushing. "I know right." Sans interjected.

You two continued walking, hands intertwined. It seems like none of you two wants to let go.

"It's kinda' gettin' late, though." Sans said with a frown. "Don't be scared if anything strange happens."

You became confused. "What do you mean?" Just in a blink of an eye, you and Sans are back in the Skele-bros' home.

There's one bad news...your hands unintertwined. The warmth from the skeleton's hand diminished from your touch and you frowned. You hid it by asking Sans a questioned connected with the teleporting situation

"How did you..?" You asked Sans, shocked and curious. Sans chuckled as he placed his hands in his pockets and sat on the couch snugly. "Magic." Sans winked as he replied. You sat beside him.

The room was filled with silence. The clocks' ticking was clearly heard through the room and Kitchen. It was the only object that created a medium for sound in the room.

"HELLO, BROTHER AND Y/N! HOW WAS YOUR DATE?" Papyrus greeted while going down the stairs. His usual attire on his skeletal body and his cape describing his determination to join the Royal Guards.

And being a great Chef.

"Date?" Sans asked, looking at Papyrus curiously, an eyebrow raised.

"YES! I LEARNED THAT DATE MEANS WHEN TWO PEOPLE GO OUT TOGETHER HAVINV FUN! DO YOU TWO HAVE FUN?" Papyrus asked.

You smiled as a response to Sans that you did. Sans grinned wider than his usual one. He looked back at the taller skeleton.

"Yes. A skele-ton." Sans winked at Papyrus then laughed at his own pun. You chuckled at his quip.

Papyrus's face turned irritated. "YOU AND YOUR SILLY PUNS AGAIN, SANS! ONE MORE PUN AND I'LL NOT COOK SPAGHETTI!"

"Meh." Sans shrugged, facing at his original position. You followed.

"But Papyrus, I am the Pun Master. You can't stop my cranium from nutella a pun. Tibia-nest, you have to suffer for the rest of your life and ear me say 'em." Sans said, laughing at his puns. You giggled at his actions and turned to see Papyrus's expression.

"I KNOW THAT, BROTHER! BUT ONE PUN IN ONE DAY IS THE ONLY RULE I ACCEPT IN PUNS!" Papyrus said.

"Bro, there are no rules." Sans looked at Papyrus.

"THAT'S WHY I AM CREATING MY OWN HOUSE RULES THAT YOU, FRISK, AND Y/N HAVE TO FOLLOW!" Papyrus said, rushing towards his room to think of House rules. Expecting rule 1 to be "One Pun Per Day.".

"So...you sleepy?" Sans asked and turned to you. "Or anything?"

You were about to say no when you suddenly yawned. You rubbed your eyes to remove the tears your yawn had caused.

"Well, I think you are." Sans chuckled then hopped off the couch. "You can enter the room if you want."

Sans went upstairs, towards his room. You trudged up the stairs then went to Sans's room as well. You knocked before entering. Manners, right?

The door clicked open and you entered the room. You closed the door as you entered and looked around the room to see if anything "weird" happened inside that might cause something bad at your sleep.

You sat on the comfy bed and looked at Sans who was doing something over the closet. He looks annoyed.

"Sans, are you okay?" You asked him curiously. Sans looked at you with a forced grin. "Y-Yes. Why wouldn't I be?"

He looked back at the closet then kicked something that made a groan, audible enough that you heard it. You cocked an eyebrow at Sans who suspiciously closed the closet doors and turned to you; nervousment read in his eyesockets, the nervous sweating representing he's hiding something, and an obviously forced grin.

He walked towards you and sat on the bed. "So..?" You asked him. "What are you hiding?"

He shook his head as his facial expression turned into a scared one. "Whatever you do, d-DON'T open the closet PLEASE!" Sans pleaded, frightened.

You flinched at his sudden change of actions but nodded understandingly. "I promise." You said solemnly, looking at his eyesockets.

Sans sighed in relief and lied on the bed, looking exhausted. You lied next to him and covered yourself with the blue sheets. Sans tugged the sheet you are holding.

"Hey..! Share!" Sans whined like a child. You chuckled at his child-like personality.

"Fine." You said and shared the sheet. You felt warmth beside you and saw Sans snuggling to you. You scooted closer as well and slept with him, snuggling as well.

Your vision started to drift off into your nightly sleep.

"How sad that this timeline will just reset."

Then you slept.
