It felt unusual... this doesn't seem right.

You felt your surroundings becoming colder and colder and heard nothing but a few movements in the silence. Your eyes were still closed. You moved your hand to see if anything was there but there is none. Your heart raced as you predicted you were sinking into the depths of a depression. You struggled to swim upwards but the water was too dense and cold. You let yourself sink to the bottom, where you'll die.

You started to tear up. Yelling underwater will just make you choke up the dense water in your mouth and might possibly hurt your nose. You didn't want to look at your surroundings to keep yourself intact from additional fright but you just felt like you have too.

You opened your eyes and saw yourself in a beautiful hall with golden pillars and details. You looked around then heard footsteps. They were light. You turned around and saw something coming towards you. You also felt weird and demented, and you felt like you were holding something. Looking at your hands, you saw nothing at the left hand but a knife at the right. Your eyes widened but they immediately turned to a serious expression. Your frightened look transformed into a dead serious insane look, your lips uncontrollably smirking as the approaching body came closer.

What's going on? You asked yourself as you started to drift off. You saw yourself fall onto the floor but without pain. This left you even more confused. You stood up but ended up floating like a spirit. You looked at your hands and saw them; transparent and faded. You looked at your tangible body, frightened, you approached it, trying to grab the knife it is holding before it hurts the body infront of it. You don't know what's going on or what should you exactly do in the situation but you tried catching your body's attention. But it just glanced at you with its usual smirk and said through its mind to communicate with you, "This is a better reset. Where everything will be erased because of how determined you are. Very good."

You stared at it frightened and looked at the body infront of it. It was Sans. Your eyes widened.

"Oh no. Shoot." You said out loud in panic since nobody except that thing can hear you. You watched the genocidal scenario, speechless.

You noticed a familiar ed cape was wrapped around his neck like a scarf. You slightly teared up because...Papyrus died. You shook your head, attempting to regain your strength.

"...the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, on days like these, children like you..." Sans said with his usual grin, but his eyes showed that he's painfully lamented. In his pause, his eyes suddenly changed to a bottomless socket without expression. "...should be burning in hell."

Sans activated some skulls that shooted thick lazers, sharp bones, and more at your body. Your body dodged them, partially getting hurt. It then swing its dagger at Sans but Sans dodged it easily.

You couldn't stand to watch the scene so you looked around the room to see if anything is there that might do something with the situation.

You saw a glowing star that twinkled. You touched it but it went through you. You huffed then returned to check on how the battle was going. You caught yourself into a dreamy look thinking about how Sans is so strong at the battle but shook it off anyways.

You got furious towards your body, and tried to shove it or possibly hurt it but it didn't work. You just kept going through it.

You looked at Sans who was starting to sweat and slow down in his attacks. Your eyes widen in realization and yelled.

"SANS KEEP SHOOTING! IT ONLY HAS 1 HP LEFT!" You shouted but of course, he didn't heard it. You frowned and turned to see your body smiling at you. It seemed tired but stood firmly more than Sans.

Sans and your body stood, doing nothing since Sans said his special attack is literally "nothing".

You chuckled at his joke but still get really concerned and worried. Mostly, confused.

You looked at Sans who was starting to close his eyes because of how extremely tired he is. You shot up. "No, no, no! Sans! Don't sleep!" You warned him at what will happen but you are still a spirit. There is NOTHING you can do.

You frowned then sighed, giving in. You chose the option to watch the painful scenario go on since you are just wasting your energy, yelling and panicking. You sat on the floor in an Indian position and resistably watched the scene.

Your body evilly grinned and quietly took its knife from the floor. It stood up and trudged towards Sans. You flinched when your body suddenly swiped towards Sans. Sans immediately dodged.

"Heh. You really think you could-?" Sans was interrupted by a swift whiz of knife cutting him diagonally. You immediately shot up, tears in your eyes. You cried, hot tears rolling down your cheeks and onto the floor.

Sans bled but he was still smiling. "Wow... Y-Y/N. If you only knew how much I meant not to hit you in the battle, and I thought you would let us monsters go. Even if it is just me left, you would. But you didn't." Sans looked at his bleeding body.

"Well, I'm going to Grillby's." Sans slowly walked away, breathing heavily as more blood dripped from his body to the floor. "Papyrus, do you want anything?"

You started crying even more. You glared at your body. "Why?" was the only question you let out before crying some more.

"Y/N! Y/N, wake up!!" A familiar voice called you. "Wh-" You stopped mid-sentence when you noticed Sans was shaking you. You rubbed your eyes and noticed they were wet.

Oh no... I didn't... you thought.

You shook your head to show that ut wasn't a big deal then smiled at Sans as a sign that you're okay. You sat up but got no response from Sans.

You looked at him and saw him, crying. "Y-Y/N... I was worried," he said with a hint of blue blush then unexpectedly, he hugged you.

You blushed at the movement but soaked into his warm hug.

"I'm sorry." You apologized for making him worry. "D-Don't be." Sans stuttered out. "I understand you. You got a nightmare, right?"

"Was it that obvious?" You asked, glancing at him curiously.

"Yes. Since I..." you didn't heard the rest of what he said.

"What was that?"

"I said..." Sans replied softly. "Since I experience them every night."

You didn't retorted but just went speechless. You felt bad for asking so you hugged him tighter, making the skeleton blush harder.

He smiled then cuddled with you.
