You were sitting on the sopha with the others, another new cookie recipe on the coffee table. This time, it was chocolate chip cookies.

So typical bestfriend bondings - getting comfortable, eating food, and chatting about random topics that came into mind.

Toriel was knitting a scarf for Asriel, Undyne and Alphys are cuddling with each other on the couch, Papyrus is looking onto a cooking book, admiring the delicious food images and how-tos, Frisk is solving a swipe puzzle, and Sans was sitting sluggishly on the couch with a bored face.

You took more cookies from the tray and ate them. You were bored as heck.

You and the others aren't really chatting like what would typical bondings would do, but you were just gathered in the Living room, doing alone businesses.

"Guys," Sans called. "I'm bored."

Nobody replied, ignoring his whines and calls. They continued doing their businesses; you stuffing more cookies in your mouth.

"Guys." Sans called once more but nobody responded. Sans lyed on the couch on his stomach, glaring at the others. "Guys. Guys. Guys. Guys."

"Why don't you entertain yourself?" Toriel suggested, now reading another factbook about snails.

"With what?" Sans asked boredly.

"What do you usually do?" Toriel continued to read her book in silence.

Sans made a face that is thinking deliberately in a flashback. He came back to reality. "You mean talk to an evil soul and have nightmares?" Sans mumbled quietly but was audible enough for everybody to hear.

Everybody went quiet and looked at Sans. Sans's eyes widened and looked back at them. "Wh-What?" He asked, a hint of fright in his voice.

"T-Talk to an evil soul?" Alphys asked, concern filled in her eyes.

Tension started building up in the quiet atmosphere. You started to worry.

Evil soul? Is that the "Chara" that Sans is talking to in his closet?, You thought.

"Wait.. does this soul have jet black eyes and a green sweater?" Alphys questioned, petrified.

"Y-Yes." Sans stuttered.

"What is the first soul doing with you?" Alphys's eyes are filled with fear.

"You don't need to know." Sans said in a grumpy tone. It sounds like he doesn't want to talk about it.

Alphys sighed. "Nobody knows what that soul will do to us," she looked at you. You raised an eyebrow at her. "What?"

"Whatever you do. DON'T kill anything, understand?" Alphys warned you. You nodded your head sincerely. "I won't."

The tension was still in the air, everybody was quiet and speechless.

"Anyway," Undyne participated into breaking the awkwardness. "Let's talk about something else."

"Like what?" Frisk asked, their eyes on their puzzle, swiping the pieces until they solve it.

"Something...fun?" Undyne said in a questioning tone.

"Like what?" Frisk asked anew.

"I don't know!" Undyne yelled, making Frisk let go of their puzzle.
