We arrived at the concert hall where EXO would be performing. The entire drive there I constantly looked over at Tao, trying to plan when I'd get a chance to talk to him.

'He'll probably keep his mouth shut, right?' I thought to myself nervously.

I mean, since he had a terrible hang over, there was a chance that he didn't remember that he saw Luhan and Sehun kiss last night. From experience, it seemed that he got amnesia when he got too drunk.

'That would be ideal...' I thought, letting out a sigh.

We walked into the concert hall, everyone moving along sluggishly. I tried to catch up with Tao and talk with him, but before I had a chance I felt someone's hand close around my wrist.

I looked up to see Kris looking down at me with a slightly disappointed expression on his face.

"So... how was last night?" He asked intertwining our fingers so we were holding hands.

"It was fun..." Fun until everything got super confusing, that is. As soon as Kris disappeared, shit started going down hill. "We should go out again sometime."

"I mean, when you found Tao." Kris said, "Was he a big pain to deal with?"

"No... he was so drunk that he basically fell asleep as soon as we got to the hotel." I replied. I could sense a bit of jealously imitating from Kris. "A-are you jealous?"

"W-what, jealous?!" He repeated incredulously, turning red. "Well... I don't think so..."

I smirked.

'Of course you're jealous.' I thought. He was acting childish from the moment I got back with Tao.

I wrapped an arm around his waist as we walked, Kris responded by wrapping his arm around my shoulders so we walked closely together. I felt as if our problem--whatever it was--had already been fixed.

"Tao still really pisses me off, okay? You're my sort-of-boyfriend, and Tao is just my sort-of-friend." I said, attempting to reassure him.

Kris laughed, "Sort-of-boyfriend? One day, I'll make it definite."

I smiled.

The manager called the boys over, and I stood to the side watching them closely; searching for any opportunity to pull Tao aside and talk to him.

"Alright, we're going to rehearse everything once. The concert starts in two hours, and we want everything to be perfect, got it?" The manager yelled.

'Not much of a pep talk...' I thought, narrowing my eyes at him.

The boys went off onto the stage and practiced their dances and singing. I watched them rehearse from the front row of the seating area.

Their music was catchy, and their dancing was impeccable. But something seemed to be missing. The first time I watched them, they gave lots of energy and charisma. But now, they just looked so tired. I assumed it was because this was just a rehearsal and they didn't need to look good yet, but my gut was telling me otherwise.

Kris and Tao were rapping to a sad song when I noticed something wasn't right.

Kris looked like he was in pain, but he shook it off, continuing in his rap.

"Something's not right." I muttered, watching Kris intently. He looked like he was going to collapse any second.

And as if on cue, just as he finished his rap, Kris fell to the ground. I jumped up from my seat, running up on stage as the boys started to  crowd around Kris.
