"Where the fuck are they?!" I growl as I continue to throw things around in an effort to find the peals,

"I don't know, are you sure we're in the right place?" Robin asks fiddling around with something on the mantle place,

"yes, I'm one hundred percent certain" I clarify with a sigh as I stand from the crouched position at the foot of the shrine to. I walk towards the stone figure resting on the shrine out of curiosity, her facial expression locked in a beautiful state of anguish. I can tell by looking at her she's in great distress, maybe she's the first ever moon princess? Who made her this shrine? Loveday? It looks like something she'd make. I admire her perfectly preserved face, not leaving any emotion she may be feeling out of her facial structure. My eyes wonder down slightly, wondering if she too has the ability to smile as big as Loveday. As I do so my eyes catch hold of something, wrapped around her neck is grey pearls coated in about three inches of dust and grim. I put my hands to them and trace the cold out line,  I easily determine they are anything but a stone accessory. A grin spread across my face at the idea of these being the moon peals I have been tormented by.

"Robin!!" I call him over, he's next to me in a split second. I grasp the peals and pull them away from her neck, they shimmer in my hands letting the dust glide off. The light dances off each individual sliver peal, my mouth drops open as I take in the sheer beauty of them. If I never understood why the peals were such a big deal before, I know now. I look at Robin who's mirroring my expression, he looks at me and grins. Just like Loveday's.

"the moon peals" he grins, I cant help but grin back at him,

"com'on, it's getting dark we should get to the cliff" I suggest, as I walk towards the door,

"wait" Robin says, I turn and look at him as he walks towards the mantle piece. I watch curiously as he grips the horse head in his hand, I squint my eyes and see how similar it is to the one in my room. The one Loveday uses, she has to know about this place. This is no coincidence, she has to have know. So why didn't she tell me, or do it herself? Robin pulls the horse head down making the boarded up fire place open, revealing a pitch black small passageway,

"where do you think it leads?" I ask Robin,

"I have no idea-" he smirks at me, he turns away from me and looks into the black hole, "-pass me that candle" he asks as he shakes his hand in the direction of our only source of light,

"yes, sir " I roll my eyes, passing it to him. He smirks slightly at me, then turns his attention to the passage way. He takes a step into it with candle in out in front of him, I follow in behind him just hoping his judgment is correct. "Robin, I don't think this is a good idea" I admit as the walls get closer and the corners get darker,

"don't be such a baby Blakey" he smirks as he stops to look at me,

"your sister is going to talk to my uncle, so we don't have to worry about reuniting the families that much" I inform him, just so he wouldn't feel too uptight about this,

"okay" he sighs as we walk down a tight corner, I want to ask why he's not happy about it but decide not to push him,

"do you even know where we are?" I ask as I walk through another cob web,

"no" he shrugs,

"we should go back, we don't have the time to play your stupid exploring game" I grumble turning around only to be meet by a completely solid black obis,

"lets just see where it leads, five more minutes" he negotiates, his features light up by the flickering of the flame,

"we don't have five minutes to spare, we need all the time we can get" I snap, just wanting to get this moon killing everyone business over with. Out of the corner of my eyes I see a white light, flickering above Robins shoulder. I narrow my eyes at it, to make out the out line of the white unicorn, "Robin, do you see that?" I ask,

"see what?" he asks looking around in circles, holding the candle out to help laminate parts of the passage,

"she's showing us the way" I grin as I jog out of the light of Robins candles and into the light of the unicorn,

"Blake, wait for me!" Robin says from behind me as I pick up the pace. I glance at the pearls just to make sure they're still in my hand, to see that they're glowing as bright as the moon. I grin and use them to help me follow the unicorn.

I come to a stop as the unicorn disappears through the wall, I feel around to find that I'm at a dead end covered in rocks and rubble.  I push on the rocks slightly and find they aren't that stable, I push harder and realise I may  need Robin to help me push through it,

"Robin" I call,

"coming" he shouts back only to appear a second later, using the candle to find me,

"I need you to push these rocks out the way" I say holding his arm to lead him to the weak spots,

"why?" he asks, as he adjusts his hands,

"just trust me on this" I smile as he starts to push, the rocks give way and crumble away reviling the cliff.

Both me and Robin rush out the passage way and take in the size of the moon, it's so close to Earth it looks to be ten times to big and if you know anything about the moon and the sea's relationship you'll know that the waves are ridiculously big and rough. I look at Robin who is also taking in the view too, with his mouth open ever so slightly. I find myself grinning at Robin, I don't know why his face is just very amusing to me I guess.

"Blake!" Miss Heliotrope makes us both jump and look in her direction, she rushes down the steps to me and engulfs me into a hug, "Mr Blackheart" she nods at Robin, who sends me a secret smile that only I get to see. Only me.

"how did you know we where here?" I ask her, with a smile of my own,

"Loveday told us everything" she smiles, I glance over her solder and see Uncle Benjamin, the devil chef, Digweed, Loveday and most surprisingly a grinning Uncle Benjamin latched securely on to her hip,

"did you find the pearls?" she asks, I nod at her holding them out for her to see,

"All I have to do is return them to the sea and everything will be saved" I grin, turning to the cliff and walking towards it. Robins hand inside my own, "thank you so much" I grin at Robin as I kiss him on the cheek,

"anything for you, princess" he smirks back, squeezing my hand a little,

"Not so fast" a all to familiar deep voice states from the top of the stairs. I turn to see non other them Coeur holding a gun out towards the group of people I have come to know as family,

"I-I killed you" I stutter in disbelief,

"not quite-" he smirks, "-you can thank your precious Robin for that" he sneers, I look at Robin hurt in my eyes while his are full of guilt and regret,

"Robin?" I ask, he doesn't look me in the eyes,

"after I ran off I came back here and got him help, I thought I was doing the right think I'm so sorry" his voice breaks as I pull my hands from his and cover my quivering lips,

"I trusted you" I cry, only making regret and sorrow big brown eyes I fell in love with,

"enough!" Coeur snaps impatiently,

"father don't do this" Loveday cries making his head snap to her,

"My daughter?" he asks, almost softly,

"you don't want to do this, we'll all die" she adds looking her father directly in the eyes for the first time in years,

"why do my children always go to the Merryweather side?" he sneers raising his gun straight at me.
