I slammed him on the ground and pulled his arm as I pressed his torso down with my foot. He breathed hard and yelled in pain as I twisted his arm.
"Who are you working for!" I growled.
"No one! No one! I'm just passing by!" He yelled.
"Oh really?" I asked.
"Yes!" He pleaded mercy.
I crouched down and ripped his shirt clean off his body. There was a tracker mark on him from the rogues. I quickly let go and picked him up.
"You're working for the rogue King?" I asked.
He held his aching shoulder and nodded. I sat there for a moment.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"We always keep tabs on the packs near our lands. If we didn't we wouldn't know that you're the Princess. We wouldn't know that you're training hard to defeat her. We wouldn't know that you need more people." He rushed out.
"Take me to your king." I asked.
"No, take us to see your king." Greg said.
I turned around to find him, Tyler, Ronnie, and Ryder standing there. The man examined them and nodded,"Come with me."
He shifted and started running away. We all shifted and followed the rogue. Greg and Tyler ran close beside me as Ronnie ran in front and Ryder ran far behind.
"Greg do you think this is trustworthy?" I linked him.
"He's our only hope to finding the King." He said looking at me determined.
We had made a solid plan four weeks ago. We have reached the beginning of our last month. The adrenaline of the upcoming war is pumping through our veins and powering is to keep training and moving forward.
Either finding someone snooping around the pack house is a bad thing, a good thing, or both. It would be good to find the long but bad if he kills us. It's a chance we need to take though.
"Everyone keep your guards up as soon as we step on his land. You'll know when we do." I linked them all.
"Our guards are already up princess." Ryder said rudely.
"Who invited you asshole?" Tyler cut in. I heard a wolf chuckle from ahead and smirked. Rolling my eyes as Ryder growled.
"Guys can we behave, please?" I asked.
Ronnie cut in,"Anything for you Faith. You're our princess we respect you enough to take your plead into consideration and behave." I sighed as we pushed on having slipped behind a bit from getting distracted.
I felt the aura around us shift. Everything seemed heavier and gloomy. I could instantly feel the hate and rage. I know that many eyes are on us. It smells of many rogues. The problem is we can't see any of them.
"Don't be fooled. We can't see them but they are everywhere." I linked to all of the guys.
I unleashed my power and it seemed to find every rogue on the territory as they all became visible. They were literally everywhere.
Ronnie stopped abruptly causing Tyler to bump into him. I walked beside him and examined him. His fur was sticking up and his nostrils were flared. A growl escaped his lips.
I looked up to find two soul taking blue eyes watching us with interest. The man grinned evilly and stepped forward out of the shadows.
"Well isn't this a nice surprise?" He asked. His voice was laced with threat and sent shivers down my spine.
We all shifted back to our human forms. The man examined all of us. His eyes stopped at Ronnie and widened in shock.
He walked forward and stopped directly in front of Ronnie. "Ronnie..it's been a while."
"Yes it has, father." Ronnie spat at him. I shivered having never heard so much hate in Ronnie's voice.
"You know I went to a dark place after your mother died son. It's hard losing a mate. You should understand." Bronze's eyes held sorrow and regret.
This all makes sense now. When I met Ronnie his father seemed to have been dead for a long time but it would have made sense for his daughter to be so young if he wasn't still alive.
Ronnie growled,"Yes I do understand but I never abused my loved ones!"
Bronze knelt in front of his son tears threatening to spill from his eyes,"Son please forgive me. Ronnie please forgive me. I love you so much. I'm so sorry. When I came out of my shadow of depression and anger I felt so ashamed that I left and started a new life. I couldn't bare trying to make you forgive me after I had just beaten you. I knew it would be easier to let you go and have you grow without a pathetic father. I'm sorry for leaving you and your sister. The way things happened after your mother past will always haunt me and I will always regret it. I couldn't bare to apologize before but I need to know. Please my son. Please forgive me."
Ronnie physically relaxed and his face held sadness as his eyes pooled with tears. He looked to me and I nodded. I linked to him,"The loss of a mate could even cause death."
Ronnie knelt in front of his father,"I forgive you dad. Although there's a very angry woman at the house with my young sister."
They shared a laugh and Bronze grabbed his son in a tight hug. They pulled away and stood up.
"Alright now that the sappy moment is over can we get to business?" Ryder spoke in a impatient tone.
Bronze growled and cringed,"Who invited you?"
Tyler threw his hands in the air,"That's what I was saying!"
Ronnie, Greg, and I chuckled. Bronze smirked obviously amused. Ryder just grumbled and crossed his arms.
"He's just the alpha." I said leaning against Ronnie. "But he's right. I have a favor to ask of you."
Ronnie took my hand in his. I smiled at him and he returned it. Bronze smiled knowingly at us.
"Let's go into my office and talk there." Bronze said. He nodded to the tongue who brought us here and he walked away. Bronze waved us to follow him so we did.
We followed him into a dark cave that turned into a house. There was a door at the end of the cave and when you opened it everything was like a house. It's really cool actually. I admire it a lot.
We all entered an office and sat down.
"So obviously I'll be helping you guys battle. I've decided to have wolves surround with you guys at the front. Once you receive my signal you move in. Then..."
