It's been a month since Ronnie found out about me now. We got worse with our hatred for each other. Although for me it's just an act. I don't hate him and I never truly will.
So far he's kept his mouth shut about me and for that I'm grateful. Who knows how long it will be before he tells his sister and I'm pretty sure she'll blab.
At the end of next month Ryder is coming back to the pack. Then there is one more month. I'm still debating on waiting another six months or not. I'll decide that when it comes time to fight. If we aren't prepared, we're staying.
I'm currently sitting in the kitchen all sweaty and bloody from battling rogues that threatened the pack. They've been coming around ever since they discovered Ryder is a no-show.
I heaved and coughed up blood. A rogue clawed me deep in my stomach. Hope is putting in all her strength to heal me and it's going but it's going slow.
I yelled in pain and fell to the floor as I started burning up.
My wolf whimpered,'Stay calm Faith! I'm almost done just hang on!'
I heaved and nodded. Hope started healing me faster. I felt a cold cloth being placed on my forehead and my eyes snapped open.
Fawn watched me with worry and I smiled at her,"I'm alright, Fawn. Thank you."
She nodded before hesitantly walking away. I pealed the already hot cloth off my forehead and threw it in the sink.
I slowly stood up and turned on the cold water. I rested my head on the counter as I let my hands and arms sit under the cold water.
Suddenly I was lifted up bridal style and carried into a bathroom. There was a tub filled with ice water.
I watched Ronnie weakly as he pealed my remaining clothing off of me. When I shifted to fight not all my clothes ripped off fully.
He gently helped me into the tub. The cold water felt like needles on my skin but it cooled me down. My body began to heal faster.
I looked up at Ronnie and reached my hand out. He took it and kneeled beside me.
"Thank you." I whispered before letting go and sinking my arm in water.
He didn't say anything. He took a cloth and started wiping away the blood. He was hesitant in the private areas but he still cleaned them and I was grateful.
He washed my arm and paused for a second when he seen my royal mark. It was a crescent moon with a crown around it. My mother has a crown next to my fathers mark on her neck but that's it.
I'm a blood royal so I have the royal crest. My mother was just mated into royalty.
Ronnie washed blood off of my mark. He grabbed another cloth and began to wash the blood off my face. I watched him intensely as he washed every inch of my body.
When he was done I held my breath and closed my eyes and went under the water. After a few seconds I came back up.
My body was almost fully healed and I was quickly regaining my strength. I stood up in the tub, now freezing. Ronnie helped me out and wrapped two towels around me.
I shook rapidly trying to suck in as much warmth as possible. Ronnie seemed to have been fighting himself them finally wrapped his arms around me.
He picked me up and carried me into a large room. He lied me down on a bed and sat next me to and pulled the covers over us.
He lied down and pulled me into his hold. He tangled my legs into his as I shook uncontrollably. I sighed in content as warmth greeted me.
After a while I wasn't shaking anymore but my lips were still purple. I had lost the cold towels and Ronnie took off his shirt.
