I grimaced as my brother munched on his food. They have been giving us scraps of meat and bread. I refuse to eat it knowing its gone through the hands of many people. People including the queen and her followers.

"He should be here by now." I spoke chillingly.

Greg belched,"He'll be here soon Faith."

Ronnie growled,"We shouldn't have to wait this long."

"Maybe something happened?" Tyler suggested making my heart beat speed up.

There was a jingle of keys and our attention turned to no one other than my old friend Philip.

"What no trust in me?" Philip laughed as he unlocked the cell door.

I laughed,"Cheeky vampire, what took so long?"

He sighed,"Some of my vampires got into it with a few of yours." He looked directly at Greg.

Greg laughed,"What did she do?"

Philips throat gurgled,"She threatened to kill everyone if we didn't get you back."

Ronnie sniggered,"She's hormonal, how cute."

I rolled my eyes,"Is she out of harms way?"

"Of course, I'm having Raven and a few others keep watch of her." Philip said. "Ok guys. It's showtime!"

My body shivered as I worked up my howl. I got it up and let it out. But this howl was different. It was louder and powerful and it screamed war. It was bone chilling.

Suddenly you could hear the slashing of throats and battle cries. They all looked around at each other and prepared for battle. The door flew open.

"Let's go!" My father smiled.

We all followed him pulling on long, black cloaks with our hoods up. We met a fork in the hall. "Stay low when you get in there."

We all spilt down the four halls. I went down the last hall on the left. I watched as vampires tore up the guards. Some allies fought hard as well. I spotted Jason and Scold and gave them a curt nod before proceeding to the ball.

Suddenly I stopped. I felt his presence. "Eric." I scowled.

I turned around and glared daggers of disapproval at him. He put his head down. I heard a faint crying and a light bulb went on.

"Eric I need you to do something extremely important." I said.

After telling him the plan he hugged my legs and took off. I walked to the door to the ballroom. I quickly opened it and slid on before the break in the sound barrier could alarm anyone. Specifically the guards and the Queen.

My father sat comfortably next to her and watched the people dance. A voice went through my head,'The rogues are loose.'

I took a deep breath and walked up next to Greg and Tyler as they were joined by Ronnie. We all walked together up the steps to the thrones. A guard halted us.

"Who tries to pass?" He asked.

Ronnie spoke with a gurgled and raspy voice,"We are elders here to speak to the Royal majesties."

His eyes widened and he stepped aside. We passed him leaving Ronnie to stand next to him.

Greg and I walked over and stood on either side of the Queens chair. Tyler walked over to my Father who stood up to speak with him. The lights dimmed and I grabbed the Queens arm and threw her on the ground.

Her shriek filled the room causing everyone to go quiet. Ronnie pulled a dagger from under his cloak and spun around slicing the guards throat. He fell dead on the steps.
