I leaned against the sink in the kitchen and watched as Marcie and Reilly talked as they had breakfast. Eric was with the guys having "guy time."

It's funny even when Ronnie and Raven's father wasn't there for the youngest she has a name that starts with R. I frowned before a lightbulb went on.

I smacked my hands down on the counter in front of the 8 year old girls,"Want to play a game?"

Marcie smiled,"What kind of game?"

I grinned at Reilly,"A shifting game."

Reilly seemed to have caught on and smiled at me. The girls yelled in excitement and ran outside with me trailing behind.

Gina gripped my wrist,"Faith?"

I smiled at her,"I'm just taking the girls to go play and help Reilly discover her wolf form."

Gina's eyes darken,"I don't want her to be a part of your sick doggy life style!"

I growled making Gina pull her hand away. I stepped up to her,"Your daughter has the right to be who and what she is. You have no say in the matter! She is excited about this! This is her destiny!"

Gina looked rough as she stared at the ground. I sighed and took her hand gently,"Gina I know it was hard for you to raise Reilly on your own but you can trust that we are helping. If she doesn't work with this now it can cause her to have problems in the future. Maybe even death."

Gina nodded and held her shoulder. I pulled her into a tight hug. She squeezed me back and I felt tears in my bare shoulder.

"I just don't want her to get hurt." Gina whispered.

I rubbed her back,"It will hurt her if we don't do this now."

Gina nodded and followed me outside to where the girls are playing. They quieted down and turned to me.

"Alright Reilly. You come from a very powerful Royal bloodline and your wolf has a strong gene that makes your fur black." I began. "Marcie has been shifting into her wolf for a while now and she has mastered shifting without thinking hard but you need to really focus."

"What if I can't focus?" She asked. Gina's heart rate sped up beside me. I gave her a reassuring smile.

"If you can't focus then you can't shift. If you lose focus while shifting, which is very rare, then you can get stuck between human and wolf." I said.

Reilly seemed worried. Gina squeaked making me glare at her. I turned back to Reilly and smiled,"You've got this, focus."

Reilly sighed and closed her eyes. I walked around her slowly. She seemed to be really tense.

"Imagine it's only you here. Feel the ground underneath your feet. Deeply breathe in the fresh air. Smell everything around you. Listen to the birds and each step I take." I said softly.

Reilly seemed to have relaxed and I can feel her energy even out. I took a deep breath and continued walking around her.

"Now imagine yourself. Your hair is down and your body is free. You're outside in your natural glory. You suddenly kneel down. Black hair starts to spurt out of your skin. Your bones get bigger and your eyes glow blue. Finally standing in your pace is your wolf." I finished and stopped walking.

Within seconds Reilly's body shifted and there stood a beautiful small black wolf. Gina stumbled back as Reilly tried to take her first few steps and wobbled a bit. Marcie shifted and I nodded at her.
