Dear Diary,
My life in Mystic Falls has only begun and I feel like I've been here forever. School is ok and I got a job as a waitress in the grill. The Lockwood's party was great expect I got a little drunk, but I wasn't complaining since Stefan took me home.At the party, Stefan and I danced and it felt like magic. I felt like were Romeo and Juilet, cheesy right. I met Stefan's friend Bonnie, she seems really nice. I think we will get on well.
Love,
Maggie xxxI put my diary back into my drawer after I was finished writing in it. It was currently eight o'clock in the morning and I was laying in my bed. Stefan had dropped me home a while ago, I wanted to get back before my mom woke up to avoid a lot of questions.
I was glad that it was Saturday where I could relax for the day. I had put on a pair of black leggings and an over-sized school hoodie I got from my old friend Daniel back when I was in New York. I put my hair into a ponytail and put on my glasses and went down stairs to get breakfast.
I made myself a bowl of cearal and made myself comfortable on the couch and turned on the TV. I flicked over a few channels before I found a show that I liked. I ate my cereal while my eyes flicked between my food and the screen.
I heard a knock on the door and I put my bowl of cereal on the coffee table and headed towards the door. I opened the door to see Stefan leaning against the doorframe. I didn't realise what I looked until I saw him look me up and down and smile.
"Hey" I said pushing a stroke of hair behind my ear.
"Hey Maggie. You left your purse at my house" Stefan said handing me my purse.
"Thanks" I said with a smile.
"Um you look-" He started.
"Horrible, I know" I said finishing his sentence.
"I was going to say cute" He said laughing lightly. "You look adorable with glasses by the way"
I smiled as I could feel my cheeks heat up while Stefan smirked and licked his lips. "I was wondering if you wanted to get a drink later at the grill?" Stefan asked.
"I actually have my first shift at the grill later" I said.
"That's ok, I might see you there then" He said smiling as I nodded.
"See you later Maggie" He said while he started to walk off the porch.
"See you later Stefan and thanks for bringing my purse back" I said and he nods. I close the door and throw my purse on the coffe table and continue to eat my cearal.
After I was done my food and had watched a few episodes of Friends I heard my mom coming down the stairs. My mom was wearing her pale pink night gown and her hair was tied up in a messy bun.
"Morning sweetie" She said fixing her hair while she started to walk into the kitchen.
"Morning" I said smiling while I walked over with my empty bowl. My mother let out a big yawn and put some bread in the toaster. "Have fun last night?" I said raising an eyebrow.
My mom laughs. "Ya I did, actually. Where did you go I hardly saw you the whole night"
"Oh I was walking around getting to know people" I said shrugging. I didn't really want to mention Stefan at all to my mom because you know what mothers can be like. But sense it was always just me and my mom she has become my best friend.
