Maggie's POV

The sunlight shined through the curtains and warmed my face as I woke up. My eyes slowly opened, I started to smile at the memory of last night. I turned over my side and saw Stefan sleeping peacefully beside. I pulled off the duvet carefully not wanting to wake Stefan, I put back on my bra and my underwear and started to walk over to Stefan's ensuite.

Once I was in the bathroom I looked at myself in the mirror. I traced my fingers over the marks on my neck, my smile grew wider. Last night was the best night of my life. Stefan made me feel so invincible and like I could just face anything that life throws at me right now. I threw up my messy hair into a high ponytail and got a few makeup wipes and to clean up some black mascara under my eyes. While I'm wiping face I felt two arms wrap around my waist.

I smile and looked in the mirror to see Stefan just in his boxers hugging me. His head buried in my neck. "Morning," I say running my hands over his arms wrapped around my waist. He places a soft kiss on my neck. "Morning," He smiles.

I continue to look into the mirror, I was looking at everything I've wanted since I met Stefan. For the first time in months, I felt happy. "Well I would love to stay here forever, but you need to eat. So I'm going to make breakfast," Stefan said before placing a kiss on my cheek and leaving the bathroom. I smiled and nodded telling him that I will be downstairs in a while.

Once Stefan left the bedroom, I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and checked my messages, hoping to hear back from Tyler. I haven't seen him since I woke up in the cellar and I don't think anyone has heard from him. Every time I would Matt he would just tell me not to worry and that Tyler always like to keep himself and that he likes to be alone sometimes. I pressed the call button and help my phone up to my ear. It went to voice mail as always.

I sighed. "Hey Tyler, it's me again. Um just wondering where you are and call me back when you get this."

I hung up the phone and tossed it on the bed. I changed into a hoodie and a pair of skinny jeans. I glanced at a mirror and then remembered the marks on my neck were visible. Great, thanks Stefan. I pulled out my hair from the ponytail and covered my neck while making it neater. Once I was happy with the way I looked, I went downstairs and made my way to the kitchen. Elena was sitting at the island with her breakfast and with a cup of coffee in her hand. Stefan and Damon were at the counter. Damon was frying food in a pan and Stefan was making coffee.

I took a seat beside Elena. "Coffee Maggie?" Stefan asked. "Yes please" I smiled as Stefan placed a cup in front of me.

"Thanks," I said while Stefan smiled and replied, "Your welcome," and went back to make his own. I turned my head to see Elena glancing at us with her eyebrows furrowed and a slight smirk on her lips.

"What?" Elena just smiled and took a sip of her drink. I just shook my head and felt my cheeks heat up. She knows.

Elena gently pulled my hair back revealing my neck to her. I quickly slapped her hand away and repositions my hair. Elena let out a small laugh covering her mouth with her hand. My face must be completely red by now. I kept my head down letting out small giggles.

Stefan and Damon heads shot up at the two giggling girls. They gave each other confused looks. "You two gossip girls want to share the joke?" Damon said.

"Just girl talk Damon," Elena smirked. Damon looked back at Stefan and then at me.

"Something going on here that I don't know about," He said while Stefan raised his eyebrows and shook his head. Elena cracked up again, I gave her a nudge with my elbow.

"Well I was thinking we could all do something tonight," Stefan said changing the subject quickly. He walked over to the counter that Elena and I were sitting at and placed a plate in front of me and sat beside me with his own plate. "I think we should all to go to the grill have a few drinks, you know pretend like there isn't someone trying to kill us for once."
