Tyler POV'S"I'm sorry okay? Look I've got to go I think Maggie is going to wake up soon," I said before hanging up the phone. Maybe Caroline was right, I should have said something, maybe all this wouldn't have happened. I leaned my head against the cold rock while I fiddle with my phone. The only thing I could hear was the sound of water dripping. After I knocked Maggie I took her to the old Lockwood cellar. This place had so much history for me, I came here and chained myself up, went on hours of end feeling my whole body change and feeling every bone in my body break and crack.
I heard Maggie groan making snap out of thought. I looked over at her seeing her eyes slowly open, once her eyes were finally open she looked around her. "Where am I?" She said her voice cracking a bit. She then looked down at her hands and seen what I was forced to put on her. Elena told me to put on these rusty old shackles that prevents any witch from doing magic while having them on.
"Let me go," Maggie said sternly. "You'll regret this."
I noticed something happening in her eyes. The cellar was dark and I couldn't see her fully, but she didn't seem herself. "Come on Maggie, you know why I have to do this," I said to her.
She laughed. "It always protects Maggie right? Lock Maggie up because she is weak and not a strong vampire or werewolf."
"Where is all this coming from?" I said standing up. Once I did stand up more light came to Maggie's face and I could see her eyes were changing red. "This isn't you. You are not thinking straight."
Maggie rolled her eyes at me. "Whatever," She said like an annoyed young teenager. It like she was having mood swings and for once I knew it wasn't because 'that time of the month'.
"You know I don't blame you for locking me, it's probably for the best," Maggie then said in a soft voice. What?
"Like two minutes you were telling to let you go and that I'll regret it if I didn't," I began tilting my head to the side. Maggie furrowed her eyebrows at looked around her. "Maggie, do you remember the conversation we just had?" I could see the fear building up in her eyes.
"Hello?" I hear a faint voice in the cellar.
Maggie's head shot up and her eyes widen. "Who's that?" She shuddered. I could hear footsteps and I turned my head and recognized the voice.
"Relax it's just Stefan," I said while she just slowly nodded. I hated seeing her like this. The way she was acting it was like I was talking to a stranger. Maggie was the type of person that you knew she was smiling even if she wasn't smiling with her mouth, you could see it in her eyes. But now when I look into her eyes I don't see my Maggie anymore.
Stefan then appeared behind me and instantly went to Maggie's side. I felt awkward so I stood up and stepped back to give them space, I could see Maggie's eyes lit up when she saw Stefan. I heard footsteps behind and I looked over my shoulder to see Damon. I flickered my eyes back to Stefan and Maggie, she was cuddled up in his chest while he was whispering something in her ear.
"It sucks doesn't it?" Damon said appearing next to me. "What does?" I asked ready to hear the next stupid thing that came out of the infamous Damon Salvatore.
"To see someone your in love with, in love with someone,"
My fist and jaw clenched. "I don't know what you're talking about," I said sternly. I knew I was lying to myself, i knew exactly what Damon was taking about. I never noticed my feelings towards Maggie until the night when we slept together, to her it was probably a one night fling that didn't mean anything. But to me it was a night of realisation that I was in love with Maggie. Hearing Damon say it just made it all real.
"Oh trust me I know the feeling, when it was Elena and Stefan back in the day, it would drive me crazy!" Damon said.
I just rolled my eyes at him, hoping he would just walk away. "Well congratulations, because you got the girl," I said sarcastically.
Damon smiled knowing he got the reaction out of me that he wanted. I simply just shook my head and started to make my way out of the cave leaving Damon, Stefan, and Maggie behind.
I opened the door and relieved the bright light of the moon shining on the forest. Once I was out in the open, I suddenly could hear someone walking. I stand still and looked around me trying to pinpoint where the noise was coming from. Finally, I could see a figure emerge from the trees. It was a woman with long black curly hair.
"Hey, you shouldn't be out here this late?" I said to her while she continued to approach me. Her features became clear as the moonlight hit her face. She had blue eyes and a small amount of freckles on her nose.
"Well I could say the same to you then," She said smirking. The first thought that went through my head was that she was a camper or something. We always encounter the people of the town in the woods, but they were usually dead because of vampires and werewolves like myself.
"Look, do you need a ride somewhere," I asked. "Wouldn't want someone like yourself out here alone,"
"Aw thats sweet," She said smiling. "But I'm not alone,"
Then I could see more figures approaching us. Suddenly I was surrounded by people.
"You see I didn't come out here for nature or camping," the woman continued. "I came here for you, Tyler Lockwood,"
I then just felt a sharp pain in my neck and then complete darkness.
