Stefan POV

"Hi we are here to see Sadie Peterson, I called a few minutes ago" Elena said to a women while she leaned against the desk. We were in Denver and at the the Oakwood home. The women then placed a sheet on the desk with a pen. I looked down at her name tag and saw that it said Sarah. "Please sign in and I will just go check if Sadie is awake" She smiled and walked off. Caroline scribbled down her name while Elena and I did the same.

We waited while we saw Sarah come back. "Now" She smiles. "If you would follow me, Saide is very eager to meet you." We followed Sarah down a few halls until she stopped at a door.

Sarah opened the door for us while we went inside. There was a bed covered in a flowery sheet and lots of flower pots and windows that were wide open letting the sunlight in and on every window there was a patch of biting up flowers. I saw an old women facing away from us in a wheelchair while it looked like she was knitting. "Sadie, your visitors are here" Sarah said and Elena thanked her while she closed the door and left. We all walked over to her.

"Hi Saide, my name is Elena Gilbert and this is Caroline Forbes and-" Elena started but Sadie cut her off when she was about to introduce me.

"Stefan Salvatore" She said smiling.

"You know me?" I said while Elena and Caroline glanced at each other.

Sadie let out a laugh. "I could never forget you, or Damon" She said. "It was 1936 and I was just a 16 year old girl and you attended a party at my home with your brother"

"Ya I remember that actually. I remember your dad, Frank Peterson"I said taking out my hands out of my pockets. She nodded.

"I see you haven't aged a day as usually" She smirked.

"So you know about vampires?" Caroline asked while she nodded. We then all sat around the table while Sadie put her knitting away.

"So what can I help you with today?" She asked resting her boney wrinkled hands on the table.

"We were wondering if you knew anything about the Peterson magic" Elena said while Sadie looked surprised at her question. Sadie coughed before speaking.

"Well nothing much to say about it really. All I know is that about 900 years ago a man named Asger was a powerful witch but wanted to be stronger, so he made the Peterson magic so that magic was so powerful that it would have to be passed down from parent to child. But of course like all spells there was always a a price to pay" Sadie said.

"What was it?" I asked.

"Every Peterson witch were immune to vampire blood after they triggered their powers" She said and my heart fell to my stomach. "Wait what? So you mean vampire blood won't heal a Peterson witch" Caroline said while Sadie nodded.

"What about turning a Peterson witch into a vampire, would it work?" Elena asked.

"I have no idea, the Peterson blood would be fighting off the vampire blood. There is no way of knowing if it would work, only if you are willing to sacrifice someone" Sadie said raising her eyebrows.

"Maybe it's just a myth or legend, maybe it's not true" Caroline said.

Sadie then a needle from a basket she had next to her. She made a tiny cut on her wrist and then got a empty cup and placed it on the table. "Only one way of finding out. I triggered my powers when I was twenty years old, it should work"She said.

I took the cup and bit into my wrist and squeezed it into the cup while Caroline and Elena waited nervously. I gave the cup to Sadie while she drank my blood and my eyes were glued onto her wrist.
