Clayton and I finally make it to New Orleans , the many places my siblings and I have travelled to throughout are long life.

Clayton and I met in New Orleans.

I track Hayley using my wolf senses. Signalling to Clayton we spot Hayley sitting on a park bench crying.

"Kenna?" Hayley stands up wiping her tears from her eyes. She looks the same from when I last saw her , still the same long brown curly hair but she looks frightened.

"Hayley are you ok?" I walk Towards her embracing her in a hug she starts crying more. I feel so bad for her especially since my brother isn't the father type.

After she's done crying she breaks from the hug and smiles.

"I'm so glad your here , I'm so scared Kenna I don't know what to do!" She try's not to cry.

I smile at Hayley "hey hails this is Clayton my boyfriend!" I push Clayton towards her and Hayley sticks out her hand , Clayton shakes her hand.

"Nice to meet you" he says with a grin.

"Anyways Hayley explain to me what happened" I ask Hayley begins going on and on about how she and Klaus had a one night stand and how since he's a hybrid he can have kids.

That actually makes me kinda happy since I'm not fully vampire so I can have kids.

"Anyways he's really pissed off at me"

We sit down on the bench. "Hey babe I'm going to go visit an old friend of mine , I'll meet back up with you at are special place" Clayton kisses me goodbye and vamps to see his friend leaving Hayley and I alone togather.

"He's not mad at you hails , I know my brother he doesn't let anyone in he's afraid and scared , he doesn't believe he has a child he doesn't want to believe it because of the kind of person he is. Klaus and mikael never got along , he was a horrible father to klaus and I so klaus is afraid that if he becomes a father he would become like mikael and he's afraid of that , it has nothing to do with you."

I try to reassure Hayley. She smiles I give her a hug.

"Hey let's take your mind off things and go shopping , I hear New Orleans has a new mall that just opened up , maybe we can get some stuff for you and the baby"

I touch Hayley's belly and smile with joy at my soon to be nephew or niece.

"I missed you so much Kenna." Hayley eyes fill with happiness I haven't seen Hayley in forever.

The last time we seen each other was in mystic falls.

"I've missed you too hails" I grab her hand and we walk to the new mall that just opened up.

"It's a trick, Elijah."

Klaus is running through streets. I catch up with klaus.

" Niklaus."

"It's a trick, Elijah." Klaus so badly wants to believe like this isn't happening like it's all a joke.

"No, brother. It's gift. It's your chance – it's our chance."

We haven't had a real family before , we could never have are own kids not until know.

"To what?"

"To start over. Take back everything we lost, everything that was taken from us. Niklaus, our own parents came to despise us. Our family was ruined – we were ruined. And since then, all that you have ever wanted – all that we have ever wanted was a family."

I try to explain to klaus but he keeps shouting down the idea.

"I will not be manipulated."

Klaus turns away but i vamp-speed over to block his way.

"So they're manipulating you. So what? With them, this girl and her child – your child – live."

"I'm gonna kill every last one of them." He's angry I understand why but why can't he just listen to me for once.

He shoves Me and turns away, but once again I vampire-speed over and block him.

"And then what? Then you return to Mystic Falls to resume your life as the hated one, as the evil hybrid? Is it so important to you that people quake with fear at the sound of your name?"

I shout angrily at my stubborn brother.

"People quake with fear because I have the power to make them afraid. What will this child offer me? Will it guarantee me power?"

Klaus has always been obsessed with power that's all he wants.

"Family is power, Niklaus. Love, loyalty – that's power. This is what we swore to one another a thousand years ago, before life tore away what little humanity you had left, before ego, before anger, before paranoia created in this person before me someone I can barely even recognize as my own brother. This is us, the Original family, and we remain together, always and forever. I am asking you to stay here. I will help you and I will stand by you. I will be your brother. We will build a home here together. So save this girl. Save your child."

I place my hand on Klaus' shoulder. He brings his own hand to My neck in a brotherly gesture.

"No." Klaus whispers walking away and leaving me here.
