2-The bad boy clichè

Just answer one question. Why is he a 'bad boy'?

Just because he wears leather jackets and all that shit? His attire?

Why does the good girl like him? It's like all she does is admire how he looks; there's zero chemistry. They have no personality.

If he has been with a lot of girls, you may call him 'a player' (not recommended but if you absolutely need to),
but 'bad boy'?

He's soft and gentle for her, changes his ways for the girl he met nearly a month ago. Are you serious?

Why doesn't he change only for a while but goes back to the way he was. It's just... ahh. It's like actual human nature doesn't exist.

Usually this "bad boy" doesn't even do anything bad. Skipping class, smirking a lot, wearing thin, tight shirts showing how ripped he is. Because, come on, we can't have the main love interest's muscles not bulge, that's unrealistic!

Skipping school or classes is not a badass thing. Smoking and drinking is not badass. Many people do it.

The so called freaking 'gang' is pathetic. The characters think the gang is serious, but to the me it just seems like small children acting like grown ups.

It feels like: "Guns, killing, murder, lol we're the most dangerous gang in America (self proclaimed). "

Of course he is the leader of a 'gang' that's as serious as the nerdy MC is with her studies (another topic for another time). "baddest boy of the school, but good to me" would be a more suitable title.

Or " I am the teenage undefeated champion (even though an undefeated champion should be much older and experienced than some high school kid)"

It's ridiculous. The most dangerous man in the country falls in love with a goody-two-shoes (who is probably still in high school). What?

And is it law that every bad boy must be a "Greek God"?

Do you know what Greek God's look like?! Not all of them are hot! Why can he not be so heavenly; why can't he be average, BUT the MC finds him attractive? It's possible, someone's personality you're attracted to can make them physically more appealing.

No personality, smirking all the time, bad boy but gentle for the girl with whom he has no chemistry. He finds an interest in her after bumping into her because she stood up to him. No one ever stands up to him, BUT THE SHY QUIET NERD. WUTT? I get that it's fiction, but does a little bit of realism and originality hurt.

No, not all guys get jealous of the hotter guy. No, not all girls go for the looks of the baddest boy (Cringe at 'baddest').

Oh, and bad boy is not the golden boy. They are nearly opposites. No, no, no.

If you are going to make your love interest this so called bad boy, at least make him bad, not a young, immature boy with a hollow mask for a personality.
