I looked at my phone. I couldn't answer it. I couldn't talk to him.
I did anyways.
It was silent for a while until he spoke up.
"Bailey? You there?"
"What do you want Reed?" I asked angrily.
"Its Reed?" Hissed Adam.
I nodded.
"I just really want to apologize for what happened, I honestly don't know what happened. I really am sorry Bailey."
"Okay." I said monotone.
"B-Bailey.." He didn't continue but I heard his voice break when he said my name. Was he crying?
"Reed?" I asked, concern now in my voice.
"I didn't mean to, I don't really remember what I did but I know I did something bad. Please just forgive me? You don't have to ever talk to me again if you're that mad. Just please tell me you forgive me"
"Reed. I'd rather talk about this later, or in person."
"Okay, call me when you get a chance."
"okay." I hung up.
"What was that about???" Asked Adam curiously.
"He just apologized and I told him I'd talk to him later about it."
He made an o shape with his mouth and looked down.
"I should get you home" He said after a few minutes of silence.
"Yeah, sure."
We drove home in silence and he walked me to my door.
"Thank you for everything, Adam." I hugged him tightly and he hugged me back.
"Of course." He kissed my forehead and walked to his truck and drove off.
I stood at my doorstep, debating on whether I should even go inside. I knew I'd have to talk to Adrianna and Trey eventually, but I didn't want to now. I stepped inside anyways and ran to my room. I decided to change into some gym shorts and a big t-shirt and put my hair up.
I laid down and fell asleep.
A few hours later I was woken up by the vibration of my phone. I didn't even look at the caller I.D. I just answered.
"Hey Bailey, I'm in the neighborhood and I know you wanted to talk later but I really want to talk about it now and I was wondering if I could stop by and we could talk about it?" Reed said It all in what seemed to be like one breath.
"Yeah, sure." I said. I hoped Trey wasn't home. Ive already had enough drama for today.
I left my room and walked to his room and downstairs to see if he was there. No signs of him.
I heard a knock on the door just when I was about to head backup stairs. Wow that was quick.
I opened the door to see Reed.
"Come on in." I said flatly.
He nodded and walked in. I led him to my room and we both sat on my bed.
It was awkwardly silent for 5 or 6 minutes until he cleared his throat and spoke up.
"Umm, can I ask what I did the other night?" He practically whispered and looked down at the floor.
"Uhhh," I fidgeted with my hands. "Well I was pretty buzzed and you came up behind me while I was dancing and you, umm, danced with me. And then you took me to a dark corner and told me that Allyson was making out with someone else and that I was really pretty." the last few words I'd be surprised if he heard, but he did.
"Oh...is that it?"
I shook my head and was silent for a minute.
"You kissed me and we made out." I said extremely quiet, still fidgeting and looking down. "And then, you put your hand on my butt and I tried to push you away but you kept kissing me..and then.." I paused. I didn't know if I should even say the rest. But I continued. He needed to hear it. "You put your hand under my dress but I squeezed my legs shut and you wouldn't let me go and kept touching me and then Adam pulled you off of me."
He said nothing and ran his fingers through his hair.
"Shit." He simply said and put his head in his hands. I touched his shoulder and he looked up at me, tears in his eyes.
