Chapter One

                          I woke up early in the mourning in my parents old room, ever since they died I moved out of sodas and pony's room, poor Darry. Anyways I got dress wearing a sweater and jean shorts
(the picture up top) I walked outside my room and down the hall to see the whole gang there laughing talking. Dallas wasn't there...I kinda like him to be honest.

"Hey girlie" two-bit cheered slinging his arm around my shoulders.

"Hey two"I replied smiling a bit.thing is I'm a girlie girl and a tomboy I can fight real good next week were having a rumble and Darry promised I could go.

"Bells"Darry callas me into the kitchen.

"Hi Darry can I go to the movies with pony boy at the drive in?" I asked.

"Sure but don't you be staying late" Darry replied leaving with soda and Steve to work.

I'm sixteen years old two years older then pony, I should be allowed to stay out late.

"Cmon pony and let's go get Johnny and head to the movies" I replied as the two of us were walking we saw dally coming towards us.

"Hey Bella"dally greeted giving me a quick hug.

"So what are we doing?" Dally asked walking in the middle of us.

"We're going to the drive in with Johnny" pony replied.

"Sweet some crazy ass broad was chasing me this mourning" dally replied.

"Oh" I replied as we kept on walking by.

"So dal did you know that Bella is fighting in the rumble with us?" Pony asked.

"Wait...woah..woah..hold up your fighting in the rumble?" Dally asked seeing Bella nod.

"You can't you might get hurt" Dallas replied.

"Well I'm fighting because I want to" Bella spoke.

"Alrighty don't come crying to me when your hurt kid" dally said.

"Oh I won't"Bella replied smiling.

"Hey Johnny" pony greeted.

"Hey man, hi ya dal, hey Bella" Johnny spoke quietly.

"Hey guys it's early let's do something illegal" dally spoke as everyone nodded.

                   We stopped in a store, Bella needed a new Switch blade anyway I thought we were buying it but she point out she wanted a black one with some gems on it. Dally quickly shoved it in his pocket and we walked out without a problem

"Thanks Dal"Bella replied.

"Welcome kid, wasn't hard" dally replied Cooley.he started to lit a weed.

"Dal why do u smoke?" Pony asked him.

"I don't know man" dally replied.

We all slid under the fence and Dallas helped me up,we had taken our seats and dal was bugging cheery valence. Later on she ended up dumping her drink all over him, he left after that. Pony,Johnny and I decided to walk the girls home their boyfriends showed up,great.

"Cherry what do you think your doing walking around with these bums?" Her boyfriend asked.

"Who you calling bums pal" I replied taking out my switch blade.

"Alright fine I'll go I just don't like fights" cheery shouted then walking over to pony telling him something.

We walked home, pony was at the lot with Johnny so I decided to go home.

"Hey Bells where's pony?" Darry asked.

"At the lot with Johnny"I say going upstairs to my room.

Bella looked at her alarm clock it was two in the mourning then Bella heard Darry yelling. I came down stairs and before you knew he yelled at soda while pony stuck up for soda. I jumped in front of pony and Darry had hit Bella instead of pony.

"b-Bella I-I didn't mean to" Darry replied as I ran out the door with tears in my eyes, I didn't bother looking back. Bella bumped into dally in the street.

"Hey watch-" he turned around realizing it was me.

"Bella?" He asked seeing a red mark on my cheek and a bruise on my cheek as well.

"What happened?" He asked sounding concerned wow Dallas Winston concerned that is funny.

"Pony came home late from falling asleep in the lot and Darry was about to hit him and I jumped in front of him and Darry had hit me instead" Bella replied having tears in my eyes and that's when he slung his arm over my shoulder.

"You sure your alright?" He asked.

"No, he hit me, I want to run away from this place" Bella replied.

"Okay well cmon kid your staying at my place and tomorrow your going over there"Dallas replied as the two of us walked threw bucks and to his room.

"You can sleep on the bed next to me or you can sleep on the floor" dally replied.

"I'll sleep on the bed" Bella replied sleeping on her side there was space between her and Dallas she knew he probably didn't like her back. But deep down she was wondering.

The sun shined threw his ripped Curtiss that hung on his window, dally woke up and told Bella she can change and meet him down stairs.

She kept on the same clothes she had yesterday and applied some light peach coloured lip gloss, and added some thin eyeliner.

"Cmon Bella let's take you home" dally replied when they reached there Bella slowly walked in, all eyes on her now.

"Bella I'm sorry" Darry replied giving her a big hug.

"I'm not forgiving you Darry for hitting me, even thou it was meant for pony, but I do accept your apology"I replied sitting beside dally and Johnny.
