Chapter 20: Party time

         

          Since we won the rumble at last we all decided to go to bucks and party, I hear buck had a person sing for entertainment. I was wearing my ripped mud stained jeans, and my white dirty shirt under neath my leather jacket. I put my hair up into a bun.

"We stomped those socials so good they ain't gonna won a fight again.. " Steve said smiling like crazy.

"Yeah and I still want to punch them right in the face" dally replied as he quickly kissed my cheek.

"Bella you did pretty good" dally said giving me his famous smile, the smile that drives me crazy.

"Thanks dal" I replied gently kissing his cheek again.

"Gross if y'all want to make babies then go to a room" Steve said making fake gagging noises. Darry gave him a death glare that shut him up right away.

                  As we entered it reeked of smoke and alcohol I sat on a stool while dally went off somewhere to talk to Tim. Buck appeared giving me a small shot of whiskey before Darry could see. I had taken that shot so fast I couldn't even taste it. Darry would kill pony and I for drinking but yet he don't care if we smoke thou.

"Listen Bella I need a huge favor" buck said

"Oh god now what?" I asked about to take a drink of my coke.

"To perform" he replied as I spit out my coke.

"What"

"The entertainer ain't here and I need more people so I need you too. I could give ya a wig or something for a disguise" buck replied whipping off where I spit my coke.

"Okay but you pay me five dollars afterwards" I say.

"Done" buck replied shaking my hand.

"Oh and buck, don't tell anyone it's me" I reply seeing him nod.

I quickly went into the bathroom and. Put on some make up and a blond wig with curls.

As I walked out he smiled and went to a mic he had that was on his table.

"Now give it up for The entertainer " he said as everyone hollered in excitement I could see the whole gang sitting at one table. It looked like they were looking for me.

As I finished everyone cheered, as I ran off into the bathroom buck quickly gave me the five dollars, as I quickly changed I walked back out to see the gang.

"Hey guys" I replied.

"Where were you?" Darry asked. I quickly thought of a lie.

"A girl dumped her dink all over me so I was in the bathroom trying to get the drink of my clothes and I tried to get it out of my hair" I replied. I walked over towards buck and sat in front of him.

"Hey kid I was wondering. If you wanted a summer job here signing, I'll pay you ten dollars a night" buck said.

" sure but I don't want them to know" I replied.

"Their gonna find out sooner or later doll" buck replied as I walked back to the gang.

"Hey Bella why were you talking to buck?" Dally asked wrapping an arm around my shoulders as we walked back to the house with the gang.

"Just chatting" I replied.

"That chick who sang was amazing I won't be surprise if she ever landed a record deal" Steve said.

"Yeah I heard her she sounded good" I replied.

"Good? That was amazing" two said laughing yup he's drunk...again

" I wonder who she is thou" Soda said as we entered the house.

"She looks familiar but I don't know who" Steve said. As I said goodnight I fell asleep that night thinking of how I felt so alive on that stage singing.
