Erica

I called Jo. I didn't care how mad he was at me. I didn't care that he wouldn't answer. Some shit isn't adding up and some shit he isn't telling me.
"What the fuck yo' murdering ass want?",he asked as he answered the phone.
I sat in the parking lot of a McDonalds.
"Do you have a friend who's dark skin with dreads and has a star tattoo on his shoulder?",I asked.
There was silence on the other end. It was scaring me.
"He got light brown eyes?",he asked.
I nodded as if he could see me.
"Yeah."
He didn't respond for a moment and I watched people go in and out of McDonalds.
"Shit. That's Teek. Come to my house right now."
He hung up and I immediately pulled off.

Jas

"Hi. I'd like to get my grandmother out of the hospital early.",I said to the woman at the front desk.
She smiled at me before looking through some folders. Cordyn sat in the chair intensely watching beside me.
"Ma'am it seems as if she checked herself out."
I felt the wind leave my chest.
"W-when did she do this?",I asked.
She typed and clicked a few things on her computer.
"Seventeen minutes ago to be exact."
I rushed away from her and out the door. Of course Cordyn was right behind me with Jasmon on his shoulder.
"Shit Jas. What's wrong?",he yelled as he hopped in the backseat.
I sped to my house with tears in my eyes. Something not adding up. Somebody ain't telling me something.

Erica

"Be quiet because Eric's sleep.",Jo said as I stepped into his house. I nodded.
He closed the door behind me and I realized how much I missed him.I'm realizing that I really fucked up.
"You need to stay here. You can't leave the house. For a while.",he said rubbing the back of his neck. I looked down. I knew he hated me.
"I know..look I'm sorry I just didn't know how to tell you.",I said.
He nodded.
"Its fine. But you need to make sure you tell Jas. She probably doesn't believe that nigha did it and shit.",he said.
"Yeah I bet."
He licked his bottom lip.
"Did I lose you?",he asked.
I smiled to myself as tears formed in my eyes.
"No. You didn't. I lost you?",I asked.
He grabbed my face and kissed me repeatedly. After a while he slid his tongue in my mouth and lifted me up.
My legs wrapped around his waist as we devoured each other like animals. I missed this but but I knew it was only a matter of time.

Jas

I rushed home to drop Cordyn off. It was my responsibility to look for my grandmother.
"Baby is that her right there?",he asked.
I saw an old woman standing at the door hitting her flip phone.
"Grandma!",I hurriedly parked and got out. I came and hugged her so quickly. She gave me a weird look.
"Baby it was supposed to be a surprise. Who told you?",she asked.
I smiled and hugged her again. "Don't worry about that. We'll talk in the morning. You look tired.",I said.
She kissed my cheek as Cordyn held the door open for both of us.
I couldn't help but feel watched.

I snapped another picture as she walked inside.
"You think she know about Erica?",Teek asked me.
I gave him a stern look. Meaning to shut up.
He sat quietly.
"Watch them. Follow them Rodney. I got shit to do.",I said standing.
"Yeah you going to ya' boyfriend. You falling for him and Mr.Zelda ain't gone be too happy about that.",Rodney said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Yo' say something else slick. I got something for yo' simple ass. Know ya' place baby boy."
I got in my car and sped to MookieMookie house. I felt bad for leaving him.
