Jo and Erica stood in front of my house. I could only catch the tail end of their conversation.

"You need to tell her or I can't be with your lying ass anymore!",he yelled.

I could hear her voice but I couldn't catch what she was saying. I squinted further as I watched their hostile interactions through the window.

He took Eric and started walking away but Erica wasn't having it. She pulled and tugged at him until finally Jo pushed her, causing her to fall on the floor.

I rushed outside just as Jo was putting Eric in his car seat. I helped Erica up and spoke to Jo.

"Jo let's just talk about this.",I said with my hand held out.

He chuckled coldly and closed Eric's door. He was crying and yelling 'mama'.

I didn't know what Erica was lying about but I felt bad for her. I had to protect her and our secrets. We were the only ones that seemed to be wanting to protect this family.

"Why don't you ask Erica who attempted murder on your ass. I'll see y'all later."

He shook his head and got in the car. I instantly jerked away from Erica as she cried in the grass.

My eyes were pouring by now. As I relived that night.

"Who? Who was it!"

She shook her head as she kept trying to crawl towards me. I could hear Jo speeding away.

Erica cried harder.

"WHO THE FUCK WAS IT ERICA!?",I yelled. Infuriated.

How could she hide something like this from me? I'm here trying to protect her but if shit hit the fan I would tell it all.

"It was Morgan, Teek and a big bodygaurd.",she wailed out.

I shook my head. Not only at her but at the realization that my own son had turned His back on me.

"Get up.",I said.

I looked around and saw a crowd forming.

"What?"

I sighed in frustration and yanked her arm up.

"You're coming with me. We need to find Cordyn."

Jas

I sighed as I stared at my babies in the backseat. I felt like a bad mother and fiancee. I had cheated on Cordyn with Jamal. Even if it was just a kiss.

I let a tear slip as Jamal pulled up to my house. I stared at Cordyns car in the driveway.

He was home ignoring my calls and he hasn't even came to see me.

"Hey I'm sorry about yesterday. I know you'll never love him like you love me.",Jamal said as he stared out the window.

I nodded. He was absolutely right. I wanted Cordyn and only him. He was the love of my life and I wouldn't let him go.

I was just vulnerable. I needed somebody.

Jamal just happened to be there.

"Thanks anyways. For everything.",I said.

He smiled and grabbed my hand. He wiped a stray tear and kissed my forehead.

"If you need anything let me know. I will do anything for you."

He sounded so sincere and I knew he was serious.

I nodded again and got out the car. He helped me unbuckle the twins and Jas.

I'm surprised they let us go after a few days in the hospital but they said there was no reason for us to stay.

I sighed as I walked into the new nursery. I almost cried.

He had set everything up so beautifully. I put the twins in their cribs and laid Jas in her bed.

Jamal smiled and left. Silently.

I went into our room and then the living room. Soon after a chilling realization hit me.

He wasn't here.
