My father signed the check to Ham. I was nervous about the trial. If we won or not we still had to pay him a certain amount even though we got a discount.

"So how are my babies?",I asked referring to Jas and Lil Jas. I fixed my tie and shirt.

"They're fine.",my father said. He still seemed a little on edge about the whole situation.

I nodded as the judge sat down on his throne. "All rise for Judge Matthews."

Damon

I could hear a faint beeping. I could feel pressure on my hand. The sweat mixing between our finger prints.

I felt the print of a ring on my finger. I moved my eyes and heard the beeping speed up.

The person holding my hand moved.

"Damon please get up.",it was Erica's voice.

My eyes slowly opened and readjusted to the light. I turned my head to see a shocked Erica. All my mind was focused on was Alicia.

"Alicia.",I said with a dry cracked voice.

She furrowed her eyes together before calling a nurse.

I didn't care. She she carrying my child and she's my everything. I can't lose everything.

Claudia

I sighed as another doctor came in and checked her pulse. They gave her an ultrasound before giving me a grim look.

"Ma'am she's under too much stress. She's in an induced coma but due to the babies we had to leave out a vital medicine. It wakes her up after the sleep wears off. We didn't want to cause the miscarriage of the babies.",she rubbed the gel off of her stomach.

"When will she wake up then?",I asked.

The female nurse sighed again. She looked sad.

"When she goes into labor we hope her body will shock her awake."

I couldn't help but feel bad for my granddaughter. I nodded as the nurse left.

Erica came into the room soon after. We had to go to the trial or we'd be late.

She had a shocked facial expression.

"Damon's awake.",she breathed out.
