I woke up with an overwhelming feeling of joy in my heart. My baby was finally one today.
"Baby get up.",I said as I hopped on top of Cordyn.
He groaned as he tried to open his eyes.
"Mawmaw, Da da!!"
I looked towards the door to see Jasmon walking towards us. I almost cried.
"My baby walking!!"
I jumped off Cordyn and he immediately sat up. I picked up Jasmon and kissed her all over her face.
"Daddy baby.",I heard Cordyn say behind me.
I was so happy. Today was gone be a happy day.
Grandma walked in with her polaroid. She snapped a bunch of pictures before setting the camera down and rushing into the group hug.
Damon
"Baby promise me you coming back.",I said as I held her waist.
Alicia stood in between my legs with nothing but underwear and jeans on. No bra or top.
"I promise. Come here."
I stood up,towering over her and she lifted her arms at me.
She wanted me to lift her up. I lifted her body and her legs instantly wrapped around my waist. She made me so happy and last night was better than the time before.
She rested her perfectly manicured hands on the sides of my face.
"Baby you know I love you. I want you to know that I do for real. I promise today I'll tell you everything."
I smiled from ear to ear. Even though my heart dropped in my stomach because I felt it'd be bad, I was happy that she'd be allowing me to finally be with her. She gave me a confused facial expression.
"So even if what I'm telling you is bad, you'll still love me?",she asked.
I kissed her lips and set her on the ground.
"I promise I will."
I handed her her shirt before I raced downstairs. I opened my secret drawer and pulled out the ring box. She came downstairs with a pair of my Nike slides on. She was cute without makeup and I loved that about her.
"Alicia come here."
She smiled and walked towards me.
I bit my lip as I watched her hips sway. She was so sexy.
I stood up and pulled out the ring box. Her eyes widened and I smirked.
"Its a promise ring. Calm down."
She giggled while a few tears fell.
I placed the ring on her finger.
"I'm not good at cheesy speeches but I promise the next ring I put on your finger will be your engagement ring."
She stared at the diamond in aw. She looked like she never seen one that big before.
"Damn I love you. Come here big papa."
