Cordyn just stared before speaking again. I felt like once again my whole world was crashing down. Nothing was making sense and I was tired of being told lies.
Mr.T looked a little too nervous. At this point I didn't trust anybody.
"Before I was born my father dated a woman named Catherine. She became pregnant and had me.",Cordyn said.
I stared. I didn't know what this had to do with me but I snuggled my babies a little tighter as I let him continue to speak.
"Around this time my father and your father became friends. Best friends. When your dad got married of course my dad was the best man. Soon after things began to...go down south with your parents marriage."
I made a confused face that he noticed.
"He was beating your mother."
I inhaled a deep breath. That had to be a lie.
"When your father cut off any contact with your mothers friends she had no where to go but my dad. That's when..the affair started. By that time you were a baby and my mother took me away from my father. They weren't in the best place in life. Apparently she was cheating on him."
"With who?",I asked.
Cordyn shrugged. He didn't know. We all turned to Mr.T.
"I don't know either."
He looked like he was lying but I let it go.
"So",Cordyn started again.
"Your father got jealous when he found out. He killed your mother to hurt my father and the next day killed my mother, who was three months pregnant."
I nodded as I tried to take it all in. And then realization hit.
"So you kidnapped me so that I could kill my own father for you all. You sent your son to make me fall in love and then make me take your side. If it ever came down and anybody got caught I would be the blame. So I could do your dirty work."
Cordyn and his father was silent.
I let a tear slide down my face. I looked down at my sleeping children and shook my head.
"You all are evil."
They looked up at me in shock.
"Get the hell out of my room."
Cordyn stood and grabbed my hand but I snatched it away.
"Now!"
He jerked away. He lifted Jas in the air and placed her at the foot of my bed.
"I'm sorry.", Cordyn mumbled before leaving my room.
I shook my head. Only my grandmother and Erica were in the room.
