I stared at the box for a long time. I was really worried about what was inside but didn't want to open it.
"So what we do?",Jamal asked.
My father hadn't said a word since I asked him if he sent the box. He knew and I didn't have to tell him.
I looked at my father and then back down at the box. I wanted to be as wise as my father but I needed to think. I wouldn't get anything done if I didn't.
I smirked to myself before walking in the living room.
"Aye who wanna see fireworks!?",I yelled.
Everybody jumped up and down including Jasmon. Funny how they were so oblivious.
I nodded before walking back in the dining room.
"Aye Damon, lead everybody outside for me?"
He nodded and stood. I could hear him ordering everybody outside as I ducked in the kitchen.
Me and Popeye wrapped the wires around the box before going to the backyard.
"Babe don't tell me you're blowing up Jasmon gift.",Jas said as she held little Jas.
"No baby. I'm not I promise."
She smiled and nodded as I held the remote in my hands.
I threw the box as far as I could into the lake. It was a good distance away so I decided to press the button on the remote, eliciting the box to light up with explosives and fireworks to throw themselves into the air.
Jasmon sat next to Eric who was holding her hand.
"Hell naw!",everybody looked my way as I pointed at Eric holding Jasmon hand. He looked up at me and smirked.
"Jo get yo' damn son."
We all laughed but Eric stood and let Jasmon hand go. Jasmon looked at me with a pouty face before following behind Eric.
Everybody continued to laugh at me. I felt bits of the wrapping hit my arm before hearing a loud thud.
"What was that?",Jas asked as she wrapped her arms around my torso. I kissed her cheek before pecking her lips.
I pulled away smiling and she smiled back.
"I love you.",I said.
She smiled big before stroking my tool descretely.
"I love you too daddy."
I smirked at her sneaky tricks. She was getting fucked up tonight.
I opened my mouth to reply but another voice interrupted mine.
"Eric what the fuck is this!?",I heard Jo yell.
"Hold on baby.",I pecked her lips before running over to Jo.
I saw Eric holding a teddy bears head and wires were coming out of it.
I grabbed the bear out of Eric's hand and pulled on the loose wires. There was melted pink plastic around the ears and nose of the teddy bear.
