Stalker's P.O.V.
It worked. My plan had actually worked.
Justine had gone with her human instincts and found the Seton boy. I hadn't expected her to find him so quickly, but she was a very surprising person. I wasn't quite sure who the other human girl was that came with her, but she seemed to care for the Seton boy as well.
After kidnapping him, I took him to the place where I was hiding out for the past week: the old burnt down safe house. He would occasionally wake up, and I would beat him. I figured that while I was at it, I would get some revenge.
I was reading the journal when I heard two feminine voices talking. As quickly as I could, I opened the journal to the last entry and dumped it on the floor. The Seton boy was still knocked out, so I hid a small corner of the room ready to attack.
The girls came in quietly as if they were expecting something dangerous to be hiding out down there. They looked around and examined the place in silence. From my corner, I heard Justine whisper, "I remember being here."
The girl with dark hair raised an eyebrow and was going to ask something but then Justine continued. "This was the underground part of our safe house. I was upstairs for the last few human moments of my life."
This other human girl knew about her? This was going to be easier than I thought.
"How did it burn?"
"Um, well my ex fiancee was trying to attack me so I knocked the torch out of his hand and it all went up into flames."
"Smooth."
They continued to walk around in silence in search of, which I assume was, the boy.
"Justine?" the human girl asked, her voice a little scratchy.
"Yeah?"
"It's eleven thirty. There's no sign of him and my dad probably called the cops already. It's pointless."
"We're not giving up!" Justine said loudly and her voice echoed, bouncing off of the walls. A low moan came from the boy's mouth. They both turned their heads in that direction and my eyes slid over to the Seton boy.
He wasn't moving, but you could hear his little sharp breaths. The girls came over towards towards him and tried to comfort him. Justine walked away from them and picked up the journal on the floor.
I couldn't help but flash an sinister smile at her facial expressions as she read Owen Patel's last journal entry, and my little side note as well.
"Justine?" the girl called.
Justine's eyes flicked right towards my direction, but then she walked over to the useless humans. I couldn't believe it! Justine McCaul had looked right in my way and she didn't notice me! The darkness was my shield, and it did a good job of keeping me invisible.
"There's something wrong with Greg. I checked and he has no pulse."
She pressed her two fingers against his neck and realized that he was dead.
Before I could even get the chance to attack either of them, the human girl called the police.
"They're on their way."
The girls uselessly tried to revive him but nothing worked.
"I can't believe I let this happen to my brother," the human girl sobbed.
Brother? I couldn't kill her. Not then anyways. My boss would be very upset if I hamred the Seton sister. And if I did, Justine would have killed me within half of a second. There would be another way to get Justine. There had to be.
