Stalker's P.O.V.
Music hummed quietly from the radio's speakers in my car. It had rained multiple times earlier today, but it only drizzled. The rain had stopped, but it was still wet and gloomy outside of the vehicle. I stared far off into the distance, just thinking.
Where had I gone wrong? Every part of my plan had been skillfully timed out. It should've flown smoothly, without any flaws. But it didn't.
I hadn't exactly planned of Justine taking the journal with her. It was the real thing and it was of great importance to us as well. So in the end, we had no journal and no Justine. Basically, I was done for.
The passenger side door opened up. We both looked straight ahead until the awkward silence was broken by his sigh.
"What are we going to do?" he asked.
I shook my head. "I can genuinely say that I have no clue."
He fiddled with the buckle on his briefcase. "How did you let this happen?"
Anger broiled inside of me. "I'm sorry that I made one mistake. Things just do happen, but we can fix it, can't we?"
"Of course we can, but we don't have much time. she's only going to be here for another week and a half."
"I'll figure something out by then."
He looked straight at me. "It better work. I allowed you to hurt my son to get the affect that you wanted, but in the end you just failed. My family is tearing apart because her and you better fucking fix it!"
George Seton slammed the car door and left to go into his house.
I drove away.
Later that night, I had gone for a little stroll and got a quick bite to eat. I was hiding out in the old Holdenburg Cemetery. I came back to see George's daughter and Justine looking through my bag. The human looked up at me and froze. She tried to warn Justine, but she refused to listen, fully interested in something else.
She tried once again and finally got her attention. I stared straight at the two girls and they froze in great terror. Justine grabbed the girl and ran away.
Once they left, I returned to belongings to see if they took anything. Nothing was stolen, it was all there. I lied against the tombstone in frustration.
How was it that she was always one step ahead of me? My new plan would have to be bigger and better than before. It all narrowed down to one thing.
I would just have to go after Justine myself.
