After graduation I began an internship for athletic training and decided it wasn't for me. I only began the internship because I didn't want to leave boxing in the past. But with the help of Hayden, I dug a little deeper and found my real passion, social work. I sympathized with the children because I was taken from my father's custody at 17 years old and if it wasn't for Hayden's parents taking me in, who knows where I would be now? I began to take social work classes -- a semester after Hayden began college -- at a local community college at night and worked at a gym during the day. Those years definitely put a strain on Hayden and I's relationship. We began to see each other less and less even though we lived with each other and sadly argued a lot. We decided to take a break from our relationship at the end of our sophomore year of college and lived separately. We stayed distant friends once Hayden and I began to see other people due to the jealousness of our peers. I didn't see Hayden until I transferred to the university he was attending. It was our senior year and both of us had ended what we called a fling relationship during the summer. I hadn't seen him in over a year and I remembered seeing him for the first time in front of the university's library with a group of friends. My heart fluttered just the way it did in high school and he caught my stare not knowing if it was me or not. After that, exchanging study tips became study dates, that later became actual dates, and soon became us finally being together again. After graduation we moved to Seattle, where both Hayden and I had jobs lined up. We had a small loft just like we did after high school and found ways to make time for each other. We lived happy for a year before Hayden popped the big question and our wedding came a year after that. Hayden and I were blissful during our honeymoon stage that we ended up with not one but two babies 9 months after. Twins and Triplets ran down in Hayden's family and we were no exception to that. Our twin girls Phoebe and Amelia became the center of our world and every moment since then has been enjoying life together as a family.

Since I was younger, my parents always mention how much patience I had for things. That definitely came in handy in college and the years to come. I attended the local university where I studied to be a registered nurse where patience was key in my classes. But it wasn't my classes that were hard, it was life itself. While Sapphire was at work, I was at school, and when I was at work, she was at school. Our relationship became a ball we couldn't juggle at the time and crumpled under the pressure. I casually dated while I heard Sapphire did the same. But truth be told, my biggest test of patience was waiting for Sapphire to be mine again. I remember seeing her on campus in that maroon sweater and her cheeks flushed due to the cold weather, at that moment I started to believe in fate. We got back together in a few months short after. I remember us packing up all of our belongings to Seattle and moving in our first home. Sapphire didn't know it but I had already picked out her engagement ring since the move and was waiting for the perfect time. I purposed to her a year later at the Kubota Garden where we also ended up getting married. Everyone came into town and started asking about kids but I was glad to have sapphire all to myself at the moment. We traveled a lot for our honeymoon, mostly to Ireland and France, two places I was dying to see. I distinctly remember coming home from our honeymoon and Sapphire not feeling well for 3 weeks. I thought she must of caught something with all the traveling so we went to the doctors and surprise! I'm a dad. We were blessed with my twin girls Amelia and Phoebe, P and Mel both being daddy's little girls. Sapphire's work let her work from home a lot and I would try my hardest not to be at the hospital too long so I could make it home and it worked. I made it home to see Sapphire reading to our daughters and I playing whatever character the day's story included. I definitely needed patience when it came to having three women in the house. But I am happy, and most importantly my girls are happy.
