I sat on the chair in the lounge room gazing out the double doors at the ocean nearby. After we had saved Tetsuya and Kise I had decided it would be best to move out of the current house we were staying in and go somewhere peaceful and so here we were, at a secluded beach house on a small island that Takao owned. We would be safe here for a time, long enough for them both to recover from their imprisonment. The hunters had come with us but had told their superiors not where we were, it was safer that way for Tetsuya.
Thinking of him drew my attention to the second floor where Tetsuya was with Midorima getting checked over. He had slept the entire flight here and I had only awoken this afternoon. I could smell him and hear his heart beat even here and I was glad to see he was calm. Looking over at the couch in front of me I saw Kise in Daiki's arms. He hadn't left his side since we had arrived at the castle where they were kept prisoner and I itched to hold Tetsuya but his health and wellbeing came first.
"I need to know what happened Ryota. I know you don't want to talk about it and I probably will feel sick after hearing it but tell me everything."
Ryota stiffened in Daiki's arms before looking at me, his eyes full of dread and sorrow.
"If you're sure Akashicchi but if I do you will feel as helpless and disgusted as I do."
Tetsuya's Pov
Midorima's face was rigged as he looked over my bruised and battered body, his lips pressed so hard together white was starting to show around the edges. Even though every inch of him radiated anger his hands were gentle and cool as they passed over my injuries. When he got to my hand I winced and he shook his head.
"The bones haven't repaired in here yet, when did this happen?"
I swallowed fear as I thought back to the day before and what had almost happened.
"The morning you all saved me. He-he pulled my nails off and when I resisted he broke my hand."
He spat out curses as he turned to his medical bag and pulled out bandages.
"I will wrap it until it heals which hopefully will be a week at most, there are a lot of tiny bones in the hand that need to be repaired."
I nodded my head as he began to wrap it as gently as he could. I winced but made no sound, this pain was nothing.
When he was finished he stood up and soothed my blue hair out of my eyes.
"I have Takao preparing some food for you, nothing too fantastic as by the looks of you he barely fed you and we don't want to crash your system."
I nodded again and he bit his lip.
"I don't want to make you remember it but would like to know all the injuries you suffered, I need to just make sure you are healing okay. It is odd for you to still have so many scars and half healed wounds."
I shivered as I thought of the past week and he reached out his hand to sooth my back.
"I am so sorry Tetsuya, we got there as fast as we could."
I took some deep breaths to calm myself.
"I didn't heal as fast as usual because there were so many injuries and I was using most of my power to keep Kise safe. I don't know how I knew the symbol that would create a shield it just came to me. I can't protect myself with it, I knew that much but I wasn't going to let him hurt Kise, not after I had seen how scared he was and how angry Aomine was. He beat and raped me the first day we were there, I had at least one broken rib and countless bruises and maybe a few other scratches. Also that night he slashed me up pretty badly, the deep scar on my back is left over from that, it still hasn't healed. I'm sure you saw the video that was the only time someone other than Haizaki touched me but he- he attacked me daily."
