Chapter 29

Kuroko's Pov

I opened my eyes and looked around, confused as to where I was. I was lying on a bed in a room bare of any decorations. The walls were painted dark and I could see cracks and holes in them. I sat up quickly and groaned, holding my head as the room seemed to spin around me.

"It would be wise to not move so soon little one, the drug takes a while to wear off."

I shuddered at the cold tone and looked up to see Hanimya leaning against the wall beside me. I scrambled to my feet and bolted for the door. I fumbled with the handle but a large pale hand covered mine and I felt his body press me up against the door.

"Now is that any way to treat an old friend?"

I whimpered as he bent down and sniffed the back of my neck and I felt his hand move to my waist.

"You smell even better than before."

I felt his teeth grave my neck and struggled against him.

"Just a taste."

His teeth sunk into my neck and I cried out, pulling against his hold.

"Just as delicious as I remember."

He spun me around to face him, licking his lips as he looked me over.

"Kiss me."

"Like I would!"

He just smirked at me and his hand moved to my stomach.

"You will behave and do as I say if you want the brat in your womb to live."

Time seemed to stand still and I gaped at the smiling vampire in front of me. I was pregnant?

He reached up and grabbed a handful of my hair, tugging it gently.

"It's a good thing you're already with child, it puts us one more step ahead in our plans."

He grabbed my arm and pulled me out the door. Once I was outside I could see I was in some giant warehouse looking building but what was shocking was that below where we were standing I could see over a hundred hunters training, swords and fists moving faster than the eye could follow. No, not hunters, I corrected myself when I saw their eyes. I was in the hands of the cult of Adam.

Hanimya led me into another room, this time it looked like a hospital. It was all white and a chair sat in the middle of the room. Two men grabbed me and pushed me into the chair and began to clasp my wrists and ankles to it.

"What are you doing?"

They didn't reply, they simply continued tightened the straps and then they both went to grab something. They returned with two empty blood bags and two needle.

"You're blood will strengthen our soldiers. Can you imagine? Hunters, with strength from both vampire and Eve blood."

I winced as the needles pierced both my arms and watched as my blood flowed down the tubes.

"What makes you think my blood has that kind of power?"

Hanimya moved forward and stroked my cheek.

"Because the hunters that have drank my blood, infused with yours are faster and stronger than any pureblood. They have already won many battles against the councils dogs. We will take your blood," his hands moved down to my stomach.

"And your children will be raised as warriors for our cause."

I turned away from him, tears pricking in my eyes but he simply grabbed my chin and forced me to face him.
