"Wait" said Calvin "you're one of the crystal gems?". "Yeah" said Steven proudly "we protect the planet from evil monsters and stuff". Calvin gets down on one knee. "What are you doing?" Steven asks. "I've been looking for you guys my whole life" Calvin said excitedly. "Why? Said Peridot. " I want to join the crystal gems!" Calvin explained "I felt like it was my destiny to join ever since I was born!". "Why do you feel like it was your destiny?" Steven asks. "Because of this!" Calvin shouted as he raised his left hand up for Steven to see. "How cute!" Steven said "you have a star birthmark on your hand!". "Yes" said Calvin "this was the reason why I felt that I should join the crystal gems". "Well unfortunately only gems can join the team" said Peridot. "Oh you don't have to worry about that" said Calvin "let me show you". Calvin takes off the pad on his shoulder and removes his shirt revealing the gem on his right shoulder. Peridot blushes, "w-w-well how do we know the gem is real?" She says as she's flustered. "Oh yes of course" Calvin says "let me show you". Calvin's gem starts to glow he reaches to his gem, as he pulls his hand away, sword appears in his hand. "Wow!" Said Steven, amazed "your weapon is a sword!". "Yep" said Calvin as his sword disappears "I never really summon my weapon unless it would be nessecary" Calvin puts his shirt back on."So am I on the team?" He asks. "Let's see what the other gems think" Steven says as he, Calvin and Peridot teleport back to the barn.
