"Hi Connie!" Steven says as Connie arrives at the barn. "Hi Steven" she says, she notices Calvin, "who's that?". "Oh, that's Calvin, he's the new member of the crystal gems, he's also a half gem like me" Steven says proudly. "Wow!" Connie says "that's amazing!". Connie walks up to Calvin "Hi! She says " I'm Connie". "So you're the Connie Steven told me about" Calvin says as he extends his hand toward Connie "it's nice to meet you" he says. "It's nice to meet you to Calvin". Connie says as she shakes his hand. "Hey Steven" Calvin asks. "Yes?" Said Steven. "Do you know if Peridot has had a birthday?". " I don't know, why do you ask?" Said Steven with curiosity. "Well" said Calvin "I've been thinking, you had a birthday party recently and my birthday was a few months ago, you even held a birthday party for Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst. But that was before Peridot came to earth" Calvin finishes his thought. "Why don't you ask Peridot herself? I'm curious as well". Calvin gets up and walks to where Peridot is while Steven goes to hang with Connie. "Hey Peridot? Can I ask you something?". "What do you want to know?" Peridot says. "When's your birthday?" Calvin asks. "I don't know, are you asking if I want to have a birthday?" She answers. "If you want to" Calvin says "but if you don't want a party I can get you a gift". "A gift is fine" Peridot says "I just need to work on the drill, a party would just delay us more". "OK, if that's what you want" Calvin says as he's getting up. Calvin goes inside the barn to think "hmm... What to get, what to get". As Calvin is looking around the barn for inspiration, he notices a foot in the corner.
