Chapter= 15
Carol’s P.O.V.
It’s been an hour since Christopher left with Justin. I’m still sitting at dining table trying to pass my time by reading the newspaper which is not helping at all. I tried talking to the maid but as we all know she just know two words, yes and no that’s it. And about this dog... well he’s just sitting in front of me waging his tail with his eyes locked at me. Will he ever get tired?! Argh! I’m bored to death!!!
I hate sitting idle. But there’s nothing to do. I don’t even have a job. Will my life be like this from now onwards? Sitting home, reading newspaper ten times a day on this very same chair with a crazy dog staring at me..... NO!!!! I have to find something interesting to do but what?!? I looked around to search for something. The only object that interested my eyes was my cell phone. Seems like talking to sis is the only option I’m left with. So I picked up my phone and dialled her number. She answered on first bell only... creepy right!?
“Hello little sister. How are you? We miss you so much.” She said sniffing a little. She’s such a drama queen.
“Hey big sister. I’m very fine and quit acting, you suck at it.” I said laughing a little.
“I was just trying to make you feel valued. But seriously I miss you.” She said giggling like a school girl.
“Yeah ok I got it. So how’s my best friend and my sweet little cuddly bears?” I said feeling happy.
“We are all doing just fine here. You tell me how’s your married life going on?” She said in a teasing manner. I know what she’s getting to. Oh please! Don’t remind me of that letter.
“Sis I just got married yesterday.” I said in bored tone. Don’t say it sis.
“Sooooo.... How was it?” She said dragging the words.
“How was what?” I said trying to ignore the topic.
“Yoouuurrr laassttt nighhtt?” There she goes again.
“What about last night? It was just normal like all other nights.” I said trying to drop the subject but I know she won’t let it slip that easily.
“I know what u diiidd.. hehehe.” She said laughing like Shinchan. You know the way he laughs when he’s up to something evil.
“I did what normal people do ,that is, went to sleep.” I said with a matter of fact tone.
“You mean you didn’t do that?” She asked in disbelief.
“What’s ‘that’? I didn’t do anything like ‘that’.”I said acting careless. I won’t give in sister just drop the subject please.
“That, you know ‘that’ is what a girl and boy do after marriage.” There she goes again.
“Nobody do ‘this’ or ‘that. So what did you made for breakfast?” I tried one last time to change the topic. This is getting really weird.
“I made grilled sandw- oh forget about that we are discussing something really important here. You don’t know what is ‘that’ okkk.. let me explain.” She said and sighed.
“......” Omg!!! She’s really going to explain. Talk about being weird.
“Ok.. so when girl and boy get married they..”
“I... can’t here you sis... what....??!!”
“I was saying when girl and guy get....”
“Heeelllooo... I can’t hear, maybe some problem with my cell.. I’ll try to call you later ok bye.” I disconnected the phone and sighed with relief.
