Chapter=16

Carol’s P.O.V.

I was walking alone in a dark alley, I don’t know the exact time but I think it’s almost midnight. I heard dogs crying in the distance. Suddenly I felt that someone was following me. I gulped and turned around but I was all alone. I continued walking and increased my speed. Then again I heard some footsteps. I turned around again to find no one. I shook my head and started walking again. After walking for five minutes I heard the footsteps again but I kept on walking and increased my speed even more. I was almost running now. The person following me also started running. I halted to stop and spun around only to be greeted by darkness. I groaned.

“Come on. I know you are there?” I said placing my hands on my hips.

Suddenly a person jumped down from a roof. He was tall and muscular. He had this huge hat on his head and weird long hair. He was wearing some odd, really odd dress like that of pirates. His face was hidden by his hat so it was difficult to know who he was but he looked really familiar.

“Who are you and why are you following me?” I asked, adding anger to my voice though I was scared.

“I liiike angrrrry women.” He said in a slurry voice. I glared at him. He took a step towards me. He lifted his hat and flashed me a brilliant smile.

My eyes went wide as I stared at his face.

I couldn’t believe my eyes. Somebody pinch me please.

“Eeeeee.....” I squeled and jumped in the air.

“I can’t believe my eyes!!” I said feeling so damn happy.

“Your eyes, Senorita are like orbs of chocolate.” He said again with a smile.

“Come to me, my love.” He said and opened his arms for me.

OMG!!!! Did he just say ‘my love’!

I squeled and started running towards him in slow motion as shown in movies. I was a few steps away from him when his face changed into Christopher’s and he smirked, showing off his fangs.

“Nooo....” I screamed and started running in opposite direction. I looked back and found him running after me.

“Carol!” I heard him say.

“Carol!”

“Get away from me!” I yelled and increased my speed.

“Carol!”

Immediately my eyes flew open and I found Christopher staring down at me with weird expressions.

“AAARRRRRR......” I screamed and he fell out of bed.

“What’s with you, screaming every morning?! You almost burst my ears.” He said rubbing his head, getting up.

“And what’s with you?! Scaring me every morning.” I said glaring at him.

“I was just trying to wake you up. You were behaving abnormal in your sleep. One time you were giggling like a school girl and then you were screaming and kicking around. I don’t blame you though, your species are like that only.”  He said with a smirk.

“Normal human species behave like this only but as you proved yesterday that you are some weird thingy from water, I don’t blame you for considering my behaviour odd.” I said and beamed at him.
