Ken's POV

What the fucking hell is his problem?I never did anything to him!

UGH!

Now i'm in my really small house where my mom was sitting on the couch.

I greet her and she replied me with weak voice.I smile weakly at her because who knows how long could she survive.

Well,my mother got Lung Cancer.And yeah it's really bad.The doctor said it  could be cured only if she got an operation.But yeah....it would be really expensive.

Which we couldn't afford even if we sell everything we have including our house.

I wanted to work to got the money,but my mom said that i don't have to waste my money on her.Just forcused on my school.

Of course,i really respect her words but i'm still finding money for myself.

Which i'm now taking a shower and getting to work in like 45 minutes more.

When i'm done,which took only 20 minutes before i need to go work.I immediately went to my sick mom.

Her face is so pale,and there are barely any hair left on her head.But she still is the most beautiful girl in the world in my eyes.

"Hey mom,i need to go work now."I said happily.

"Be careful please."She said while coughing out some blood which i immediately wipe it off.

I smile sadly before nodded and going out of the house.I put on my headset and play some songs from my really old phone which was given to me by my mom.

I don't care actually.As long as i got to hear songs and text other people i'm fine with any phone.

I'm not like other rich kids which need to buy the newest phone everytime it is released.I'm fine with my old crappy phone.

I jogged my way to the small cafe near the school for my work.The cafe is small but it pays really well.

And the people there are really nice to me,especially when they know about my mom.But i told them not to worry about my mom and they understand.

I open the door to my work place and immediately greeted by my boss.

"Hey Ken!You're early today."He said while smiling kindly at me.

"Yeah.I decided to go home faster today."I said.

"Wow.Normally you would be in the library until god knows when."He jokes and we both laugh.

Yes.I share everything with the workers here.They are like my friends.I could share it with them without any worries.

I bid goodbye with my boss and immediately go to the changing room to change into some working pants.

When i'm done,i put on my nametag and ready to serve the customers.

I was talking to the other workers when suddenly i heard the bell sound which means a new costumer is here.

I immediately go to the place,without looking at the person,i immediately take my note pad out and ask kindly,"What would you like today sir?"

"It seems that the nerd also works here."When i recognise that voice,i immediately look at him and see Ravi smirking at me.

I rolled my eyes and answer him,

"Yes.Now,what would you like?"I asked,trying to be patient as possible.

"Now now,that's not how you are going to ask your customer."He said while smirking.

Thank god it's only him who is here...I don't have to deal with another of his shitty friends.

"YAH RAVI!YOU HAVEN'T ORDERED YET?I'M SO HUNRGY!"I heard another voice shouted.

And that's of course...based on my luck....it's Hongbin.Oh and if i'm really lucky today,N will be here too.Note the sarcsm.

"YAH HONGBIN!WAIT FOR ME!"N shouted.

"Oh hey guys.Look who's the waiter."Ravi said while smirking.

I rolled my eyes and see that Hongbin and N look at me with wide eyes.

I bet they don't even know me let along my name.Why are they so shock?What a weirdo.

"Wow Ken....you work here?"N asked me and i nodded.Feeling quite shock that he knows my name.

"Wow...i never thought that you would work.I mean usually nerds are rich kids."Hongbin said and i akwardly laugh.

"So....umm...what do you want to have?"I asked akwardly.

"Fried Rice and they are getting the same.Oh and orange juices."Hongbin said and i nodded while walking off them.

Few minutes later,the food was done and i served the food to them while i served another customers.

When they are eating,i don't know why am i looking at them so intense.When Ravi spotted me looking at him eating,he immediately smirk and i immediately look away.

I go to the cashier and decided to take a break for a while.The cashier girl "Sam" look at me and asked,

"Hey,Ken,are you alright?"She asked me and i nodded.

"Is there another kid bullys you again at school?Or is it the Ravi guy again?"Yep.She knows.Like i told you,they are like my close friends.I could tell them anything.

"Well you're right.And incase you're wondering,that's the famous 'Ravi' you always heard from me."I said while pointing at Ravi who eats like a pig now.

She look at him and widen her eyes immediately.

"H-he is R-Ravi?"She asked me and i nodded.

"Wow....he's hot.I thought that this Ravi guy would be like a ball or something but damn look at him."She said and i rolled my eyes.Here we go again...the one who falls to his charm...

I was too busy thinking other things until Sam shake my shoulders and said that they are going to pay.

I immediately go to their table with the best fake smile i ever have.

"Here."Ravi said while shoving money as if it's paper for him.

It was a hundred dollar bill while he only need to pay for 15$ (A/N:Idk don't judge my country doesn't use dollar)

"Umm...do you got any 15$ cash?Rather than a hundred dollar?"I asked politely.

"Just take the rest as your tips.Simple."He said while walking out with Hongbin.I stare blankly at the money until N shake my shoulders.

"Oh yeah yes what?"I said too quickly i may add.

"Here.Take this as your tips as well."He said while politely put a 20$ bill on the table.

Damn...i got too much tips today.

When i was going back to the kitchen,my boss told me that the shop will be in renovation starting tomorrow and he still doesn't know when it will be done.

So yay i got holiday from work for god knows how long.

3 Hours Later (You know how lazy am i)

I'm now infront of my door,i open the door and i'm very excited to meet my mom.

When i enter the house,my mom was already asleep.I frown a bit because normally she doesn't sleep this quick.

But i feel her,she's sick.So i turned off the TV infront of her and put some blankets on her.

I went to the sofa beside her and sleep there.Even though my house is really small,i don't care as long as i'm with my mom.
