Chapter 11

Chloe

                      I couldn’t wait to get out of work, I wanted to be with Mason and ask him about what he said. But that had to wait because Emily left early. I couldn’t find Meg so I was solo for the rest of the night. I was so overwhelmed that I kept getting orders mixed up; Mason got up and got behind the bar with me.

“What are you doing?” I asked him

“Helping out a lady in distress” He told me winking at me

“Oh thank you” I told him smiling at him

I had to say Mason was really good at serving, and getting along with the people. As he did the bar I began on the tables that were waiting a long time for their drinks. I saw Meg coming down from the party room buttoning her shirt and a guy behind her tucking his shirt inside of his pants. I was degusted with her for having no respect for herself or for the bar.

“Meg if you’re going to have your “fun” please take it outside” I told her in a low voice.

“Fuck off Chloe, you’re just jealous because you don’t get any” she told me as she pushed me aside.

“Well at least I got a man who loves me, not men who love the service you give them” I told her.

She turned around and wanted to say something but just walked away. I was mad at her but at the same time I felt sorry for her. I needed to talk to Daniel about her or hire a new girl. As I got back to the bar, Mason had a small smirk on his face.

“Why the smirk?” I asked him

“It’s nothing, just enjoying being here” he told me

I didn’t believe him but I didn’t want to ask him more questions. As it was time to close I saw Daniel heading out

“Hey Daniel can I talk to you real quick?” I asked him

“Yeah what’s up?” he said

“We need at least another girl or guy to help out around here” I told him

“Uh let me think about it. Okay?” he said while he headed out the door.

As I went to get my bag Mason was outside waiting to lock up. As I turned off the lights he turned to me and kissed my check.

“Why is it that you always know when to kiss me?” I asked him

“I’m good at reading your face and body” he told me wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing me on the lips.

“Okay enough, I want to ask you something” I said while I pushed him off a little. “Did you mean what you said earlier? About me being your girl?” I looked at him as I said it,

“But of course I did. Unless you don’t want to be involved with vampire” he said

“That’s the thing, I don’t care that you’re a vampire. I’m just worried about how can I please a man like you when you seen it all” I said as I lowered my head.

“You just did, just by saying that you’re willing to be with me, you are pleasing me love” he told me as he lifted my head by my chin. “Come on let’s get you home”. He said

As we walked to my apartment I felt like I was on cloud nine. I had a good man and I finally seemed to be happy again. As we walked in to my living room Mason took me and picked me up and brought me to the sofa. He began kissing my neck and caresses my breast I closed my eyes to enjoy him kissing my body. When he kissed my lips I felt two sharp teeth and I opened my eyes.

“Are you scared?” he asked me

“No” I told him looking into his eyes

“I won’t bite or hurt you” he told me

“I know, I told you that I trust you” I told him.

I put my hand on his face and began to kiss him softly on the lips, at first he didn’t kiss me back but when I kissed him more forceful, he held me by my hips and kisses me back. We kept kissing then I felt a small pinch on my lower lip, when I pulled away he had a small amount of blood on his lips. One of his fangs had cut me by accident.

Mason was across the room before I could have blink. His eyes dark and his veins popping out, I went to the mirror and saw the blood dripping down from my lips.

“Chloe wash your lip now!” he told me harsher then his normal voice.

When I was done cleaning my lip, Mason came inside of the bathroom.

“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to come out like that” he said with concern in his eyes.

“I know you are” I told him walking out of the bathroom.

We went to the living room and sat on the sofa. I knew he felt weird around me, so I got up and sat on top of him. When I kissed his forehead he looked at me.

“How can you kiss me after I cut your lip?” he said             

“Because you were in moment, and you got carried away” I told him wrapping my arms around his neck. “And what if I gave you permission to bit me and drink?”

“I would love to drink from you, but I won’t” he said

“What will happen if you do? Will I turn into a vampire?” I asked

“No, first I have to drain you and then you have to drink my blood. But if I do drink from you, I will know when you need me”

“How so?” I asked

“Well your voice comes into my head and if you say where you are, I’ll be there”

“Kinda like reading my mind?” I told him

“Well no I can’t read your mind. But when you’re scared or need me I could sense it” he said holding my hand

“I don’t see anything wrong with that, I think it’s a good thing. So drink from me” I told him

“No, Chloe” he said

“Mason, think about it. It’s our own phone call to one another” I said laughing.

“Well…” he began to say when I cut him off

“Just drink Mason” I pushed my hair to one side and held my neck to him. “I’m not scared”

He looked at me for a moment and then got close to my neck. When he bit into my neck it felt like a very sharp piercing at first but then the pain went away and it felt pleasurable. I heard him moan as he drank; I couldn’t help it but moan as well. I began to feel light headed and weak.

“Mason enough” I said weakly

When he pulled away he began to lick his lips from the blood that was on it. I felt really dizzy and light headed. I had to lie down; he told me that it will past soon. When I felt better I stood up but fell back down to the sofa.

“Easy love, I drank a lot from you”

“It was all worth it” I said joking

He took me into my bedroom and we both lied there, he held me close to him stroking my hair until we both fell asleep.
