Falling on the 9th spot is "Cups (When I'm Gone)" by Anna Kendrick which she performed on a movie called "pitch perfect". It is a cover of Lulu and the Lampshades' song "Cups (You're Gonna Miss Me).Unlike the soundtrack version, the single version of the song was remixed with additional instrumentation and extended by an additional minute. The song's music video was released on April 13, 2013 on Anna Kendrick's Vevo channel. it gained 36,405,038 views until this moment.
"The Other Side" on the 8th spot by jason derulo released on April 3, 2013, as the first single from his upcoming third studio album, Tattoos (2013). Jason has stated in several interviews that he wrote the song about his girlfriend Jordin Sparks. The official music video was uploaded on May 1st. It was directed by Colin Tilley. It features Derulo in many different locations with his girlfriend such as in a bedroom and in a club. It also features Derulo doing a headstand near the end of the video. Since its release it has gained over 16,000,000 views
7th on the spot is "True Love" by Pink featuring Lily Allen from her sixth studio album, The Truth About Love. the music video was released on june 30, 2013. The video features Pink, her husband Carey Hart and her 2 year old daughter Willow. It is the fourth music video that Hart appears alongside P!nk. The video is a melody of flashing and swirling colors. Pink stated that she has no time for a dramatic music video, (like her previous videos Just Give Me a Reason and Try, who show Pink's emotional and dramatic side) due to her being on her sold-out worldwide tour, backstage footage of which is featured in the video. Lily Allen was filmed separately; and during her short part in the song she is shown cutting vegetables and throwing them into a blender. i really like this song!
on the 6th spot is "I Need Your Love" by Calvin Harris ft. ellie goulding. The music video, which accompanies the song was released three days later on 15 April 2013. "I Need Your Love" received primarily positive reviews from music critics. Robert Copsey of Digital Spy rated the song four out of five stars, stating that "it's [Goulding's] distinctively soft-yet-throaty vocal that lifts it from the generic into something special." Sam Lansky of Idolator wrote that Goulding's "Characteristically Fragile, twee vocals sound even more haunting in the context of Harris' futuristic electro instrumentation", adding that Harris is "in fine form here." Billboard commented that Goulding's "fragile voice carries so much warmth that no amount of synthetic clutter can dim a line like, 'Tell me, do you feel the same? Hold me in your arms again'", but felt that "Harris' beat is a bit too strenuous here". well, the video has gained 55,374,860.
For our 5th place is "Everything Has Changed" by taylor swift featuring ed sheeran. can't stop listening to this song. The song has received critical acclaim from music critics upon release. Billboard gave the song a very positive review, saying "I just wanna know you better / know you better now," Swift and Sheeran serenade each other on this sweet duet about the sudden impact of new romance. Thematically, this is Swift at her most familiar, but Sheeran's tender harmonies lend the song some much-needed depth. A video for the song premiered on June 6, 2013 on Vevo. and gained 25,804,915 views. the music video is very cute. see for yourself.
"Best Song Ever" by one direction is on the 4th place. hello, directioners! It was released on 22 July 2013 by Syco and Columbia. The song was recorded in 2013 and consists of a running length of 3 minutes and 21 seconds. The opening of the song samples The Who's "Baba O'Riley" which was released in 1971. It was announced by One Direction in a video uploaded to their YouTube channel on 25 June 2013. The trailer for This is Us was released thirty minutes after the video was uploaded, and included a short preview of the song. The song became available for pre-order on iTunes on 26 June. After being leaked, the song's audio was uploaded to VEVO on 19 July with 40,925,142 views.
On the 3rd spot is Bruno Mars' "Treasure". "Treasure" was released as the third single taken from "Unorthodox Jukebox", on June 17, 2013. To confirm the news, Digital Spy also published that the song will be soon released to UK radio stations. While working on the album, Mars wrote the song with Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine.Prior to its single release, the song peaked at #118 in France. The video was shot in Las Vegas on May 20 2013, the day after the band's live performance of "Treasure" at the Billboard Music Awards. The female model/dancer in the video is Taja Riley. gaining 22,723,832 views.
You may not believe this but two of the song from last music countdown is still reigning and it include Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" for 2nd spot. before it was on the 9th place, really, big jump miley. big jump. critics are targetting her music video but it now hold 105,936,095 views, and it's only been a month. The video portrays Cyrus and her friends at a house party and, according to her, is inspired by true events. The video starts with Miley cutting off a house-arrest ankle bracelet and putting on gold teeth accessories. It also shows Cyrus making out with a doll of herself in a pool, doing her infamous "twerking", dancing with a giant teddy bear; and other bizarre scenes, such as a skull made out of french fries, cutting off fake fingers in the kitchen, a mountain of bread, a random computer-animated mask, and smoke coming out of a man's crotch. The video shows vibrant colors. This aspect of Cyrus' video was praised by critics, along with its creativity.
And last but not the least is still...."Blurred Lines" by American R&B recording artist Robin Thicke, for his 2013 album of the same name. The song features guest vocals from American rapper T.I. and American singer and producer Pharrell. first before and first still. only this time that the music video gained 113,223,979 views. lovely.
