Chapter 4 - Neji Almost Attacks, Reminiscing

~Himawari's POV~

I held my mother's hand as we walked to my father's apartment that he had when he was younger. I knew I was ten, but I still wanted to hold some one's hand, it made me feel safe. I remember when I held Inojin's hand once.

~Flashback~

(A/N: In the flashback, Himawari is five)

A seven year old Inojin held his hand out to me.

"Come, Hima-chan." he said, smiling.

I giggled and took the appendage that the blonde was holding out. We walked side-by-side to the academy, which I had enrolled in the previous month, though it was my first day. (It was the first day of the new school year)

Boruto and Sarada were also seven at the time and were walking behind us, having a quiet argument.

"Don't you two ever stop fighting?" Shikadai asked.

I looked behind Inojin and I to see my older brother and the youngest Uchiha with their really red faces. I smiled at them.

I looked forward again and slightly squeezed Inojin's hand and looked up at him.

"Inojin." I said quietly. "I'm scared."

"It's alright Hima-chan." he said warmly. "Nothing to be afraid of."

I moved closer to the Yamanaka(so many 'a's XD) as we got closer to the school building. I felt extremely safe when with him. He was the only one my father let hold my hand, but it was because of my pleading, and Naruto was still reluctant. I had heard him say that Inojin was stealing 'his little Hima-chan' to my mother.

"Hima-chan." Inojin whispered. "If anything happens, come tell me."

I looked at him a saw a warm smile. I smiled back and nodded as we entered the academy. Inojin and I let go of each other's hand and I suddenly felt alone.

"Good-bye, Hima-chan." he told me.

I stood on my tiptoes and gave him a small peck on the cheek. "Bye Inojin." I said. "Thank you for walking with me."

He nodded, his face turning really red, and then left. I said good-bye to Boruto, Sarada, and Shikadai, then went to my class.

~Flashback End~

"Not much further!" Shippuden Naruto said over his shoulder, pulling me out of my reminiscing

"Mom?" I asked.

"Hmm?" she said, looking down to me.

"Are we gonna meet Uncle Neji?" I responded.

"Yes. Hopefully he won't attack your father." Epilogue Hinata chuckled, looking to Epilogue Naruto.

"Well, I really want to see him." I said.

"We will, we will." my mother assured me.

~Timeskip~

After we dropped off the past versions of my mother at Shippuden Naruto's apartment, Epilogue Naruto and Hinata, along with Boruto and I, went to find Uncle Neji.

We went to the Hyuga Compound and Epilogue Hinata led us to where Neji should live. It was dark out when we knocked on the door. Some one with long brunette hair, a Leaf Ninja headband, and Hyuga eyes answer the door.

"Neji-nii-san." Epilogue Hinata murmured.

"Only one pers-" the person started, being interrupted.
