~Epilogue Time, No POV~

Naruto's eyes opened to bright light filtering through blinds. He expected Hinata to be next to him, but she wasn't.

Hinata was in the kitchen, making breakfast for her children and husband. She had a strange feeling of forgetfulness, but ignored it, as it seemed unimportant.

"Good morning Naruto-kun." Hinata greeted her husband.

He gave the top of her head a kiss and grabbed a plate of food.

"Thanks dear." he said.

"You're welcome." Hinata responded.

Boruto and Himawari ran in, got their food, thanked their mom and sat at the table, racing to see who got to sit next to their father. Naruto couldn't help but chuckle as Himawari declared the seat hers.

"Fine. Then I'm sitting next to him tomorrow!" Boruto announce.

"What about me?" Hinata laughed, bringing her food to the table as well.

"Sorry mom, we didn't mean to make you feel left out..." Himawari murmured, feeling ashamed.

"I'm just teasing." her mother said while Naruto was laughing his butt off.

They ate in silence for a few minutes after that, then Boruto broke the silence.

"Do you guys feel like you're forgetting something?" he asked.

Naruto visibly tensed, yet passed it off as overworking.

"You shouldn't work so hard. But anyways, a little. Why?" Hinata responded.

"Just curious. Because I've been feeling it too." Boruto said.

"Well finish your breakfast and get going." she said.

Meanwhile in the Uchiha house, Sarada was getting her shoes on. She also had the feeling of forgetfulness.

"I'm going now!" she called over her shoulder.

"Hn." her father replied.

"Go get 'em and good luck! Cha!" Sakura Uchiha, Sarada's mother, called back from the kitchen.

Sarada couldn't help but smile. Her father was back from his journey that lasted a several years, her mother was excited for her, as she had recently passed the Chuunin Exams.

Unbeknownst to Sarada, both of her parents also had the feeling of forgetting something important, but ignored it, unlike the young Uchiha, who was bugged by it.

Boruto was walking Himawari to the academy and they met Sarada on the way.

"Hey Uchiha." Boruto greeted.

"Hi Uzumaki." the girl said back. "Hey, I have a question for the two of you."

"What is it?" Himawari piped up.

"Do you have this feeling you're forgetting something?" she asked.

"Yeah." Boruto replied, deep in thought. "Mom said she did when I asked this morning and Dad was acting weird throughout breakfast, dattebasa."

"I've had it too." Himawari confessed. "But I've been trying to ignore it."

"I have too~ttebasa." the blonde said.

"Well it's been really bugging me." Sarada murmured. "I wonder what it's from."

~Shippuden Time, No POV~

Naruto got up and ate his normal breakfast of ramen, then showered and dressed. The feeling of forgetting something was starting to annoy him as he walked through the streets of Konohagakure, searching for Hinata and Sakura, the ones who were supposed to be going on a mission with him today. They were escorting a group of merchants through the land of Fire and Wind, their destination being Sunagakure.

'It'd be nice to meet with Gaara and catch up.' Naruto thought. 'I haven't seen him since we saved him from the Akatsuki and the treaty between our lands was signed.'

Sakura ran out of the house, saying goodbye to her parents as she went. She couldn't shake off the feeling of forgetting something. She ran into Naruto, who was deep in thought.

"Hey Naruto." she greeted, remembering the mission today. "Ready to go?"

"Yeah. Here comes Hinata now, dattebayo!" he responded, pointing to where they could see Hinata running towards them in the distance.

The three went out for the mission and ended up having a similar conversation to Boruto, Sarada, and Himawari's.

~Classic Time, No POV~

Naruto had the same morning routine as his future self (Shippuden), but instead of walking around Konoha, he went into the bridge Team Seven normally went to when they were called to meet up.

This time, Hinata called the meeting, which surprised them all.

Sakura left the house after eating breakfast and met Naruto at the bridge. Naruto was awfully quiet, and had only talked to greet his pink haired friend.

Hinata awoke, got ready, and made her father some tea. Afterwards, she ran to the bridge where she called Team Seven to meet. She saw them already assembled.

"S-sorry I took s-so long." Hinata apologized.

"It's alright." Sakura said. "We were just early."

"Well alright." the purplish-raven continued. "I have this feeling that I had forgotten something..."

The conversation went similar ways as the other two did.

All but Sarada disregarded it as just some weird dream.
