~Sarada's POV~
I sighed, bored out of my mind. There wasn't much to do in the hospital and I was commanded to stay here for a few more days to make sure that the bone would stay in place. I found it quite annoying, but at least I sat by the window so that I could look at the sky without too much trouble.
Boruto had just left after visiting me, saying that Himawari would be here soon. I heard a woosh next to me and saw that Lord Seventh was sitting in the window.
"Lord Seventh." I greeted.
"Call me Naruto-sensei." he chuckled. "I'm here because I'm sure that your pretty bored~ttebayo."
"How did you know?" I asked, slightly shocked.
"Trust me when I say that I've been in here hundreds of times." he said, looking at the sky and smiling.
"Why come now?" I asked.
"Bored." the Seventh Hokage replied. "It took forever to sneak away from Shikamaru though, dattebayo."
I laughed quietly.
"So why are you here?" I said to him after I recovered from my laughing.
He looked at me. "To sneak you out of here of course~ttebayo." he whispered.
"When?" I whispered back.
"10:00 P.M." he told me quietly.
I nodded and he gave me a genuine smile.
"Alright then." Naruto said, voice louder now. "I'll be off. Get some rest, dattebayo."
"Yes, Naruto-sensei." I assured him.
I called him Naruto-sensei to allude any suspicion any eavesdropping people had (*hint* *hint*) and to make it seem like we were talking about training. Naruto left and just then, my mother walked in.
"Still focused on training, huh?" she asked after she closed the door.
"I want to become hokage someday, don't I?" I responded, a slight smile gracing my features.
Sakura smiled at me and rubbed my head.
"Be careful, okay?" she said, winking.
"You heard?" I asked.
"All of it." she replied, smirking. "And I'm going to let you. After all, nothing I can say can stop you or the knucklehead."
I pulled her into an embrace, surprising her. I squeezed her tight.
"Thank you, mom." I said, then pulled away. "But don't tell dad."
She laughed. "No way. He'd just ruin it."
We talked for a little while, then she left me to rest for tonight. I readjusted myself, took off my glasses, closed my eyes, and thought about what Naruto had in store for tonight. Something told me we were gonna witness something he wouldn't approve of. (FoReShAdOwInG) With that in mind, I slowly drifted to sleep.
~Timeskip, Naruto's POV~
I leapt into Sarada's open hospital room window. Sarada was asleep so I shook her lightly.
"Sarada." I whispered. "Get up~ttebayo."
"Morning already?" she asked groggily, reaching for her glasses.
I chuckled. "No, not yet."
"O-oh! Lord Seventh!" she exclaimed quietly.
Sarada put her glasses on and her eyes focused on me. I nodded.
