I know this chapter is a little weird, but just deal with it. XD It'll be fine.

(A/N: Wait, what's goin' on here? We're actually going to the Epilogue even though our main characters aren't there? :O This'll be interesting! XD)

~Epilogue Time, No POV~

Word was quickly spreading through the village that morning about the three missing genin. (Himawari became a genin in the month that Sarada had her cast on. Yes, at the age of 10. Deal with it.) Ino Yamanaka was shaking the living bajeebeez out of Sasuke.

"Your Sarada better take care of my little Inojin!" she yelled at the top of her lungs.

"It's not Inojin you need to be worried about." Naruto sighed. He knew what Sarada did because he couldn't find the scroll, yet he didn't where, or rather, when, the three went because he wasn't there.

"Then who do we worry about?!" Ino screamed, slamming her hands down on the desk.

"I think we don't have to worry about anyone for a while." Naruto told her. "As long as Sasuke has his renneigan(spelling please?) in whatever time they went to th-"

Naruto was cut off by the female blonde. "Time they went to?" she asked in confusion.

Sasuke had looked at Naruto, signifying that he remembered. The hokage sighed.

"They probably went forward. How far, I don't know." he informed them.

"I think they went forward at least ten years." Sasuke sighed.

"We'll give them a week." Naruto decided after a while.

"A week. One whole week?!" Ino asked. "You expect me to wait that long to see Inojin?!"

"I dislike it as much as you do, but we need to see if they can get home on their own." he said, a little annoyed. "But after a week, I'll send Sasuke to search the next ten years."

Konohamaru came into the room. "Boruto has been reported missing too." he said.

~Pre-Classic Time, Boruto's POV~

I opened my eyes to see some one that looked like my dad but younger. The sky was an orange-blue color. I heard the sound of mobs coming closer.

"Down here!" some one called.

The younger version of my father looked to the side, then quickly crouched down.

"You have to get up!" he whisper-shouted.

"What?" I whispered back.

"No time to explain! Just get up!" he said again.

I sighed and got up. As I reached my feet I heard a crowd's worth of steps stop and they were behind me. I turned and got in front of Younger Naruto, pulling out a kunai.

"Get out of the way!" one said, trying to push me aside.

"No way!" I hissed, standing firm.

"You have no idea what this demon has done to us!" the man hollered.

"He hasn't done anything!" I yelled back, looking up at the guy. "He's just a kid, probably too young to defend himself too."

"You have no idea what the demon brat can do!" a woman yelled. "It killed my husband!"

"You people are so dense." I sighed, putting a hand on my hip. "What day is it, kid?"

"O-October t-tenth." he said quietly.

"Ah..." I said, understanding. "I see. So it's your birthday?"

"Y-yes..." Naruto replied, quiet yet again.

"And how old are you?" I asked, crouching down in front of him.

"Today's my f-fifth birthday." he told me.

I stood up, picking up the younger version of my dad, and jumped up to a high spot. I used my chakra to send out my voice.

"Today is Naruto Uzumaki's fifth birthday!" I called out. "Since none of you want to protect him on this sacred day, I will. Anything and anyone who tries to lay a single finger on this boy will meet something close to their demise. Thank you for listening!"

With that, I jumped down to the road, still carrying Naruto. I set him down and he took hold of my hand.

"Thank you." he said quietly.

"Don't mention it!" I responded, chuckling nervously.

I took him to Ichiraku's, for that's what he requested.

"My treat Naruto." I told him, smiling.

Teuchi came out from the back and asked us what we wanted. Naruto asked for 'the usual', and I said I'd be good with nothing. Knowing how much my dad could eat, I'm better off without anything. Though, I was starving. Just then, my stomach betrayed me. Naruto looked at me, then pushed his bowl to me.

"You take it." he said. "I'll be fine."

His stomach betrayed him too. I couldn't help but laugh at his flushed face.

"You take it!" I insisted once I calmed down. I pushed the bowl back towards him.

"R-really?" Naruto asked.

"Go ahead." I repeated.

"Thanks! Uh... What's your name?" he said.

"Just call me Blondie." I told him, smiling.

"Thanks Blondie!" Naruto said, laughing.

"No problem, Shorty!" I said back, poking his cheek.

After Naruto finished, I paid and we went to the orphanage. I said bye and then went to a nearby bench. I laid down and closed my eyes, getting to sleep in an instant.
