Chapter 5 - Goodbyes, Memories Erased

~Epilogue Sasuke's POV~

"Sasuke." Epilogue Naruto said to me. "I need you to create two portals. One to our time, one to their time."

"Using my rennigan?" I asked.

"Yeah." he nodded. "I'm going to erase our memories so that we don't remember what happened today."

"But why?" Classic Sakura said. "I find out that I'm going to have a child with Sasuke-kun and then you're going to tear the memory away from me?!"

"That's exactly why." Epilogue Naruto explained. "It's so that everything goes the way it's supposed to. I'll be erasing everyone's memory of us who saw us today completely, including the eleven of us."

"Then I'll forget Uncle Neji?" Himawari asked, pouting.

Epilogue Naruto crouched down so that he could look her in the eye where she was sitting.

"Yes, sadly. But it's for the best." he said. "I'm sorry Himawari."

"I'm going to miss him, even if I don't remember." she promised.

"I wouldn't have it any other way, dattebayo." her father said, smiling.

"Alright." I said. "I'm ready to create the portal."

The blonde nodded.

"The way it'll be performed, you should fall asleep for a good few hours, and you should wake up where you're thinking of. So think of your beds or somewhere in your houses." he explained.

"What about people who weren't present?" Shippuden Hinata asked.

"They'll just have a feeling of forgetfulness, then shrug it off." Epilogue Naruto assured.

"We're all ready." Shippuden Naruto said, smiling.

He walked over to his future self and put his fist up.

"It was nice to meet ya~ttebayo." he said.

The future Naruto, or my time's Naruto, gave him a fist bump. Everyone said their goodbyes, gave highfives, and thanked the other people for the fantastic day. Classic Hinata and Naruto woke up and Epilogue Naruto explained what was going on. I could tell that the twelve-year-old Naruto had an idea by the look on his face.

"If we're not gonna remember today, then I wanna do this." he said, turning to his time's Hinata. "I realized that I like you Hinata, even though it'll be like this never happened."

With that, Classic Naruto leaned in and planted a kiss on Classic Hinata's lips.

Epilogue Naruto smiled proudly, then performed the justu.

Everything went black, and the feeling of Dejavu hit my mind, quickly followed by forgetfulness. I thought of the bed Sakura and I shared.

I'm so sorry they're short! But I've already written up to chapter 12, and let me tell ya, two or three of 'em are LONG! But hope you enjoyed it anyway! :D
